3rd person POV
The soft sunlight shown through the cracks of the curtains as Clay's eyes squinted open. The loud beeping of the alarm rang through his ears, he pressed the button to 'off' and rolled back into his bed.
It was to early for this, he just wanted to go back to sleep. It was Saturday anyways so he could, but his mom would be pissed so he knocked off that thought.
He pushed his blankets off and sat up, oh stars were clear as day. He got up and went to his bathroom. He decided he was going to just explore today, he had nothing else to do.
Clay grabbed a towel and a change of clothes. Which consisted of, a black hoodie with a lime green smiley face in the middle, and a white tee shirt to go under it, with black ripped jeans.
He turned on the shower and let it warm up, even if it was to hot, he was still going to get in. He washed his hair, rinsing all the suds of soap out. And then he washed his body.
After a few minutes of just standing there he got out. He wrapped his towel around his waist and went back to his room to get changed.
After he got his clothes on, he brushed his teeth, and brushed his wet dirty blonde hair. He hoped today wouldn't go bad. He wanted today to be a chill relax day.
He went downstairs and grabbed a bowl of lucky charms, and an apple. He decided to take his time since he wasn't really In a rush.
He took his shoes and put them on, tying his shoes in perfect loops. He grabbed his phone from the table and grabbed his car keys. He slid out the door admiring the chilly morning air. It was calming, and that's what he was hoping for.
He locked his door and went to his car, he had already left a note for his mom since there was no point in texting her if she was still asleep. Plus she needed to know where Clay was.
He turned the key in the ignition and put his seat belt on driving out of the nicely paved driveway. It was about 5 minutes later until he reached the town filled with many people and stores. He parked his car in a random store parking lot and got out of his car, obviously taking his wallet and phone with him.
There were so many stores, but one caught his eye. It had so many colors around it, he walked and and widened his eyes. It was amazing, it had so many clothes choices. And sunglasses, even shoes!
He searched the hoodies, finding nothing to his liking. But the shoes were insanely cool, so many colors of shoes were just everywhere. He picked up really cool Nike's, They were mostly blue in the front then they faded into a lime green in the back. They were kind of expensive but he was still going to buy them. He grabbed his size shoe and continued to look around the store.
He found nothing, so he went to the front and paid for his new shoes. After, he went back to his car and placed the paint splattered bag into the back seat. He was so ready to go to a new store, but he saw a few familiar people walking in the alleyway which was close to the parking lot.
"You are so lucky Cheryl let me hangout with you"
"Yeah I guess I am,"
"I really hope i'm not leaving here,"
"Yeah i'm scared for you, I wonder where they are putting you"
Both of the figures walked out of the alley way and into a store parking lot. It was George and Sapnap, Cheryl had let George go and hangout with Sapnap because she now realized George wasn't trying to run away. George has started to build up tears in his eyes, what if he's never going to see Sapnap ever again.
"I can't Sap, I can't act like i'm ok I've been trying to keep my feelings bottled up and locked away. I'm afraid if I say anything that you will hate me, and I can't say that i'm ok when I'm not. I am so sorry that I have not been a good friend, I want to help everybody I can and be the greatest person but it's hard for me when i'm not at my best, I am so so sorry Sap"
Warm tears rushed down his face and onto his lips, the salty taste of made his face cringe. Sapnap was surely thinking of what to say, he was definitely trying not to hurt his friend anymore than he was.
"You don't need to apologize for something you never did, I like to keep my feelings bottled up sometimes like you. I know I'm nothing like you and I don't know what you are feeling but I will always be here for you and if you need anyone to talk to, talk to me. I am sorry that you are going through some tough changes but I will always be your best friend and I will always take care of you even if you do move far away from here." Sapnap wrapped his best friend in a warm and safe hug.
Sapnap didn't care if his best friend was moving away, he will always find a way to help and take care of him when he needs. George has already been through so much and he doesn't deserve any of it. He doesn't deserve the pain built in him.
"George, I think I see your little crush." Sapnap giggled pointing to Clay. George quickly let go from the hug and saw Clay, his eyes widened as a blush spread across his face from the embarrassment.
Once clay saw George look at him, his eyes widened. "Oh shit" Clay immediately looked away, a red color consuming his face.
Sapnap dragged George over to Clay and pushed him, which made George trip onto the ground.
"SAPNAP, I SWEAR IF YOU KEEP ON DOING THAT I'M GOING TO PUNCH YOU!!" George yelled trying to get up, but he was immediately pushed back into the ground.
Sapnap started jogging away from him. George stood onto his feet and ran after Sapnap. And obviously George was a lot faster than Sapnap. He then pushed him into the ground.
"Get a taste of your own dirt?" George asked, laughing loudly.
"I hate you.." He stood up and walked to Clay. "You do not want to be his friend." Sapnap growled, wiping a glob of dirt off his face.
"I bet" Clay giggled, looking over to George, who had a pouty face.
"Oh come on, you love being my best friend!" He crossed his arms and walked over to where the boys were.
"I'm joking!" Clay wrapped his arms around George and giggled. George's face became more happy and he hugged back.
"You better be."
Soon enough George had to leave, Cheryl came and picked him up from the ice cream shop, taking Sapnap along with her to drop him off.
Clay had just gotten home, tired, very very tired. He kicked off his shoes and walked up the creaky stairs.
Making it up to his room, he opened his door and lightly shut it making his way to the bed. He didn't have enough energy to change so he just slept in what he had on.
He wrapped up in his blankets and fell sound asleep, dreaming of cupcakes and rainbows. And..... George?
