Brian smiled and reached across the table to hold Stefan's bony hand. "This time nothing will happen to us. I won't let anything happen, prince." Brian smiled slyly.
"I'll be yours." Stefan added, he was excited to be back with Brian, the small guitar player was his again. He remembered he had to go to work, he was a bar tender in a bar about ten minutes away, he only had to go in on certain days, this Wednesday in particular.
Stef stood up and took his empty plate to the sink. "I forgot I have work today. I got to go. See you at five." He came back over and kissed Brian's cheek. "Bye babe." He rubbed Brian's back before leaving out the front door of the flat.
"Bye baby." Brian waved. He was sad that his partner had to leave, Brian didn't want a job, he wasn't wanting to work from nine to five. But Brian had to deal with it. He took the rest of the pancakes and put them in the fridge. He couldn't eat all of them.
Once the plates were clean, the small, skinny man flopped down on the couch, kicking his feet up and laying on his side. "Fuck what to do." He took the remote and turned on the T.V. It was on the news, the story they were doing was really depressing. It was something that made Brian sad, so he turned it off. There was nothing ever good on T.V. anyway. He closed his eyes, sighed and slept.

"Brian?" Stefan said calmly, trying not alarm him, "B..Brian?"
He looked up at the man waking him up and smiled. "Hey, you're home." He pushed himself to sit up.
"Yes I am," The tall man leaned down and gave Brian a kiss. "And maybe we could go out to eat?" He sat down on the couch beside Brian.
"Where?" Brian asked.
"Back to the French place we went to weeks ago. I liked most of that experience." He left the thought of Brian's flirtatious try in the midst of their conversation.
"You should let that go. This is another time." Brian stood up excited. "C'mon. I'll go get ready." The short man quickly rushed into his room and left Stefan alone in Brian's flat.
"I'm ready," Brian came out in a black T-shirt and pink striped jeans. His boots made him a little taller, not as tall as the 6'2 man in the room with him.
"Let's go then." Stefan lead the small Brian out the door and out to his car. Brian was excited, he hadn't been out with someone in a while, he wanted to savor the moment.
Stefan drove to the restaurant, the sun was going down slowly, creating a perfect pink-purple sunset. The day was beautiful, flowers bloomed by the river and created a rainbow of color driving by.
"This is fucking sweet," Brian said, looking out the window.
"Yes," The tall eighteen year old in the drivers seat said, turning off the car and stepping out.
Brian got out of the car and took Stef's hand without realizing it.
"Oh fuck, my bad." Brian pulled his hand off Stefan's.
The skinny teen looked down at Brian's red, embarrassed face. "You're okay," he took Brian's hand and they walked towards the little place. Some people in the restaurant looked at them with odd looks, but the two lovers didn't care.
Brian recognized the waitress, it was Helena.
"Why do you work here?" Brian asked, looking up at the black-haired woman, she was all dressed up for the job. Her unwashed hair pulled back in a bun, she wore a black dress with a white trim around the bottom, To Brian, see reminded him of a maid, but a maid that did a lot of drugs.
