Taking My Breath Away

Chapter 2

Andito ako nakaupo sa bench ng court sa ground floor, nasa third floor kasi ang gym.

My brothers and Ethan are stretching up in the middle of the court while talking with other players.

Sabi ni Bryan ay may pupunta daw ditong mga kaibigan nila. Probably their classmates. I also just found out that mg brothers and Ethan are classmates. How come I did not know about this? Sabagay hindi rin naman ako nakikipag usap sa mga kaibigan or classmates nila kuya.

They started playing and mg brothers are too hype. Excited na excited mag laro. Tumatawa naman ako minsan kapag nakaka shoot ang isa sakanila at humaharap sa akin na parang proud sa ginagawa.

Unbiasedly Ethan is good at playing. Well what do you expect sa captain ng basketball team nila? Sila kuya din pala ay player kaya hindi na ipagkakaila ang mga galing nila.

While me, I don't really have a sports that I play. I tried volleyball but due to my hrt, I prefer to stop playing because it's too physical. I mean, baka tumubo ang mga muscle ko doon ano. That's the last thing that I want to have. Baka mag muka akong trans tatay. Not that I'm shaming those trans woman who has a muscles. I mean, siguro kaka umpisa lang nila ng hrt and maybe may work silang ginagawa that requires physical work. That is also why I'm grateful that my parents can give us a comfortable life. We can buy things we want. We live in a spacious house. We can do everything we want without worrying about the money. Pero syempre hindi naman kami ang pinaka mayaman. We're like in a middle class elite family. May pera pero hindi kagaya ng iba that screaming old money. Yung tipong dati palang ay mayaman na talaga. I wonder what does Ethan's parents do. Does he have a sibling? Is he single? Single naman siguro siya kase nasa bar siya eh. He wouldn't be dancing with girls that night if he is taken or is seeing someone.

In the middle of their game a group of people arrived at the court. Baka ito na ang mga kaibigan na tinutukoy nila kuya.

"Hey guys!" A bubbly girl greeted them. Tumigil naman sila sa pag lalaro at pumunta sa bench.

"Hey Carol" Kuya Matthew greeted her. Nakita ko namang namula ang pisngi ni Carol. Hmmm, she probably have a crush with my kuya.

"Here I brought you a drink" She said then handed Matthew a Gatorade drink. Oh, may pa drink ang ate niyo.

"Thanks" Kuya thanked her then immediately drank the drink.

Tahimik lang si Ethan sa gilid. He didn't greet his friends even though they greeted him. It seems like he got all the attentions of the girls. But he seems snob.

"Oh my gosh!" Ani ng isa sa mga babae.

"Is that Sydney? Your sister Bry? Luke?" She asked my brothers. Nagulat naman ako dahil hindi ko siya kilala, how come she knew me?

Bumaling ang tingin ng lahat ng tao sa akin. I awkwardly smiled and wave at them.

"Pakilala mo naman kami Matthy!" A guy exclaimed.

"Ulol!" Saad ni kuya Luke. Tumawa naman silang lahat.

"Syd come here" Kuya Matthew said. Huminga naman ako ng malalim dahil naka tingin sila sa akin. I am nervous specially because Ethan is starring at me too.

"Hi" I greeted them. I don't really know what to say since I have no interest in making friends with them.

"Woah! Dude may maganda pala kayong kapatid. Tinatago niyo lang" Saad ng lalaki. Pabebe naman akong tumawa. Kailangan kong mag mukang demure at mahinhin dahil andito si Ethan.

"Hi! I'm Trisha" The girl said. Yung babaeng sumigaw kanina. Tumango naman ako sakanya. Nagpakilala nalang din ang iba. Some of them complimented me.

They started their game again, this time maingay na sa loob. Because there are a lot of women watching them. Yung iba taga ditong lugar, yung iba naman ay nag g-gym kanina.
