PHOEBE AND LEO sat on their small couch, facing one another. Everest had walked them to their door, checking on them both one last time before he parted ways.

Phoebe sat motionless, her eyes drifting to the floor as her mind raced with a million thoughts ─ What just happened? Why did Phillip act that way towards me? Did I do something wrong? Was I out of line? She'd spent many days with the man, she'd never seen that look in his eyes before, but as fast at the anger flickered into his eyes, the look was soon replaced with sadness, confusion. She couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit of empathy for the man, it was as if he knew right in that moment that he'd possibly ruined the relationship they'd built.

She didn't want to talk about it, she knew what her brother would say and that just wasn't something she wanted to get into right now. Instead she looked at him with tear-filled eyes, her bottom lip quivering, "I miss mom." A lump began to form in her throat, "I miss dad and I miss Uncle Robert."

She didn't know if she was truly crying over her deceased family or because of her interaction with the Governor. Maybe it was a little bit of both, she didn't know ─ all she knew was that she needed to cry.

Her brother moved closer to her, wrapping his arms around her neck and pulling her into a tight hug, "I know Bee, I do too."

They knew their parents were dead and gone, they'd witnessed it with their own eyes ─ but they still held hope in their hearts that their uncle was still alive. Phoebe found herself praying to a God she didn't even know if she believed in that her uncle was out there somewhere, safe and searching for them. She prayed that they would all someday reunite, but as the months passed her hope dwindled.
