Time reversed

Lilia instructed me on what to do. Malleus monitored as we worked. I held the Blot stone in my hand. It felt heavy just as my heart did. Lilia drew a circle around me and took out book setting them in their correct places. I took a breath. Malleus took out his pen. Lilia used his Ring and the Circle started to glow. I felt a feeling of my self being separated. I held the stone to my self as I fell to the ground. Lilia paused but I looked at him to keep going.

it was a pain I had never Experienced before. Like my soul was being sucked out of my very body while also being on Fire. I coughed and Grainy blood fell from my lips. The circle glowed bright red! I blinked as the world grew dark. I could hear Lilia yell my name as I closed my eyes. Was this the end? 

I opened my eyes to see woods around me. Lilia was looking at me from his book. I felt my head being pulled and saw my hand was on long white locks. Lilia smirked and raised an eye brow setting his book down.

"Honestly Major, Taken down by your own hair. Perhaps you should learn to pull it up as I do" I felt my self roll my eyes.

"And look ridiculous with that bun of yours? No thank you" I remember this. This was Right before the last War. The day we got the News we would be heading out with in the week. We had only come back from the Previous war a year prior. And already we were heading back to the Line of Fire. 

Lilia narrowed his eyes and sighed reopening his book. I moved and put my head in his lap. He pet my hair. Softly rubbing his fingers through my scalp. 

"I wish we could stay like this" I felt my self say. Lilia looked down at me and nodded.

"It would be nice, However you know it is only a matter of time before we see battle again. We are In charge of keeping the Peace." I pouted and looked up at him.

"Then when will we ever see peace. I wish all these wars would just Stop!" Lilia looked down at me.

"Maybe one day" He said giving me a sad look his hand cupping my cheek. I brought my hand up and held his hand to my cheek turning my face to kiss his palm.

"I suppose" I said with a sigh.

the scene changed and we were instead in our tents at the battle field. I was in his glaring at Lilia. He had been working for a week straight now with no breaks or sleep. He glared right back.

"Damn it General! You need rest you can't keep up like this!" Lilia gave me a low growl.

"If I don't then who will Nox!? We have to keep fighting! we have to move out tomorrow!" I slammed my hands on his desk.

"Don't you NOX me!? That is all the more reason for you to rest! How can you fight while half asleep" Lilia waved me away.

"I have lasted longer with out something as Time wasting as sleep" I felt like pulling my hair out. He never listened while we were on the Battle field he was always go go go.

"So that's that!? No discussion? You are just going to keep going? Even if it kills you" Lilia snapped his head at me.

"YES! For our Empire we must keep going! For our Mistress for their Magisties! I can't slow down!" I felt my self tear up.

"I see... So You will never slow down.. not even for me" Lilia tensed.

"Argenti.." I shook my head and walked out of his tent. That was the last time we were alone before my death. and I had said such horrible things.

the scene changed and I had known this scene. It was my death. he held me in his arms. We had finally won the war. But the cost were so many of our good warriors. he caressed my cheek tears falling onto me. I gave him a soft smile. His long black hair tickled my nose a little.

"We knew this was a possibility" I whispered. It was hard to talk. I felt my blood fall from my lips. The wound must have punctured my stomach.

"Don't talk! Argenti, you need to save your strength. we will be returning to our Valley post haste. You will be better then you will-" I reached and held his hand to my cheek.

"We b-both know. Tis not meant to be. I will die here and you shale move on" He sucked in breath.

"Argenti! Argenti you will not close thine eyes, That is an order" I looked up at his red eyes and felt tears fall from mine. 

"I don't think I can follow that order General, I hope you can forgive me." He brushed my silvery lock from my face. I was glad it had been sticking me in my eye. I blinked up at him.

"I... I won't you have to follow this order, Major Nox you will keep your eyes open!" I smiled gently.

"I-I shale try General, P-P-Permission to Speak?" He looked down at me. He looked so sad. I remember how much pain it caused me to see him like this. How much it hurt to know I had to leave him.

"Whatever it is it can wait, You will be healed soon. But first we must get you upright!" I gently looked down at the sword still in my abdomen. We both knew I wouldn't make it. I had already lost far so much blood.

"No... It had to be now..." I heard him swallow and he held me in his lap.

"Permission granted, Speak Major" I let out a sign of relief.

"We, both know I will not make it back to the Valley" I stopped the General from speaking.

"Let me finish!, W-we both know I won't make it back. I lost t-to much blood sir... Please.. Promise me something" He looked down his tears never stopping.

"V-very well what is it you request?" I gave a smile to him.

"Please live for yourself, Remember to enjoy a calm afternoon. You train so much, you fight so long, You need to Remember to make yourself happy to. I won't be around to nag you anymore I'm afraid" He stroked my bloody cheek as I coughed. I felt the grainy metal liquid in my mouth. Even how I remember the painful feeling of forcing myself to talk. like Knives in my throat.

"How can You expect me to-" I shook my head.

"You have to, Protect our Mistress, Remember to smile, And above all else live for yourself" I felt my eyes close.

I woke in Lilia's lap. His tears falling on my face just like that day. It was like waking up from battle. I reached up and brushed his tears from his cheek. He snapped his eyes open. I gave my Husband a soft smile.

"Sorry, Was I asleep to long" He pulled me to his chest. I felt a tug on my hair and looked. long Silver strands fell down into his lap. I hugged him close. Malleus was standing behind him looking suprised before giving me a soft smile.

"I welcome you back Major Argenti Nox" I blushed and gave him a laugh. Lilia pulled away and touched my cheek. His was smaller then me again I could pull him into my lap again. 

"Just like you used to be" I snorted.

"What? Did you not like me as an old man?" He blushed and hit my arm.

"That is not what I meant" I put a hand to my head faking being upset.

"I see I lost my attractiveness so you had to return me to how I once was" He puffed his cheeks in a most adorable pout. I leaned down and kissed his nose.

"Thank you, My dream" pulling him into a hug I put my head on top of his. I wish We could have helped Silver stay with us as well. But I was happy to have been able to return to how I once was. Who I once was. 

Now I never had to leave my Dream again.
