Shaurya was taken aback when he saw the person in front of him on the road. The person he had been expecting all day was there right in front of him.
His eyes were on the verge of watering, but he stormed out of his car to approach there.
He looked at the person, who faintly smiled.
"Happy Birthday Shaurya..."
Shaurya kept staring at the figure in front of him, and tears had deposited in his eyes in no time.
"Happy birthday ?...", Shaurya said, his voice shivering.
"Kaunse angle se happy lag rha hai aapko ?...", he sarcastically smiled.
"Shau-..."
"Aakhir kyun aaye hai aap yaha ?..."
"Kiske liye aaye hai ?!!...", he yelled.
"Itne dino baad aaj yaad aa hi gayi meri haina ?!...", he screamed, his anger palpable in his voice.
The person lowered his eyes to hide the tears, and after swallowing back the large lump in his throat, he smiled and said, "Shaurya..."
"Aaj... aaj tumhaara birthday hai beta..."
"Aaj ke din toh apne Dad par gussa mat karo...", his voice trembled.
"Aap mere Dad nhi hai !... Samjhe aap !!..."
"Aap mere Dad kabhi the hi nhi !... Aapne Dad banne ki koi zimmedaari kabhi nibhaayi hi nhi !..."
"Sh... Shaurya... Tum... yeh... yeh... kya keh rhe ho...", a shivering gasp escaped his lips.
"Haan !... Bilkul sahi keh rha hoon main !... Aap mere Dad nhi hai !..."
Shaan struggled to hold back his tears, and after composing himself, he attempted to cup Shaurya's face by stepping forward, but what his son did next shocked him.

This action by his son pierced his heart.

"Pichhle tees saalon mein jo bhi mere saath hua hai... Jo bhi main feel karta hoon... Jitne bhi dard se main guzra hoon... Mera akelapan... Sab kuch aapke aur aapki wif-...", he came to a sudden halt as he remembered that "woman".
