Apologies for the lengthy wait.

Finally, the big reveal is here!
Enjoy reading.
The hefty clouds paved the way for the sun to shine through.
It marked the beginning of another day and another restart of daily activities.
Today is the day that Anokhi and her friends have planned to pay a visit to an orphanage. ACP Ahir and Shaurya will also be accompanying.
Since Reema stayed at the hostel, it was decided that Bebo and Kitty's car would pick her up from there so they could go together.
And, because Ahir lived in Anokhi's neighborhood, he offered to pick her and Mimi up. Anokhi knew there was no point in denying, and since their destination was the same, refusing him would have appeared unreasonable and unkind. She had, therefore, politely accepted the offer.
They will be going there around afternoon. Thus was the reason Anokhi has been up early today. Beyond this, though, there was yet another reason for her early rise.
In the soft light of early morning, she walked through the room in a state of overwhelm, fighting the urge to cry but also trying to hold back.
Walking back and forth across the room, she was gathering the courage to face the photo frame. It was not the first time she was going to do it, but it makes her feel devastated on this particular day.
Bile was up in her throat, and her eyes were moist. But she was trying her hardest not to fall apart.
It always takes a lot of resolve to look at the photo, recall all the happy times she shared with that person, and come to terms with the reality—that the person is no more.
That it is impossible to bring the person back.
That what has happened cannot be undone.
That this is the ultimate bitter reality she has to live with.
Today is not a good day in the past for Anokhi to recall. For her, this date is nothing more than a painful reminder of her most beloved, who left her too soon despite having promised to be by her side through every stage of life.
Anokhi took a deep breath and sat down next to her sleeping Angel Shona.
Wiping her misty eyes, she reached out to caress her baby girl.
Mimi was her rock. After everything that had happened, her Shona was the driving force that brought her here.
Mimi is her life. Mimi is the one for whom she was able to thrive.
