Chapter 3: A new talent and a New....Crush?!?!!?

Jack woke up earlier that yesterday, and used the string to attack the claws to hers. She went back to the tree she first grinded them apon and tried to smooth them for a sharp, clean slice. They felt funny at first, but it increased her sucess rate  greatly. Her intelligence also increased. Then, a squirrel scurried to the roots of a tree.

"Ah! Let's see if this helps!"

She crouched down, letting her instincts flood her senses. She was down wind, her scent covered as she narrows her eyes. Smirking, She pounces, landing on it's neck, snapping it, ensuring  the kill.

"Yes Prey! I Won't Starve tonight!"

After eating her very first catch, she stared at the glass shards.

"Now, what will I do with you.."

She sat and thought. She began to think about her apperence. The thought hit her like lightning striking a tree. 

"That's it! I'll make goggles! I just need to fetch some more supplies from the junk yard."

She ran back to the hollow stump(now named Empty Hollow) after retriving the items and began to work away until dusk. She fell asleep creating it.

She woke up, finding herself drooling. She quickly sat up and hunted. After her meal of baby black bird, she puts the lens in to the socket of the frame and smiled.

"Finished at last!"

She slips them on her head and padded to the nearby watterfall to see her reflection. She ajusted the goggles, more satisfied where it was at now.

Two moons later, she was at the lake, trying to relax. Now that's she an adult, she's bigger.

Jack is a pure white she-cat, with lush, blazing forest green eyes. Witty, intelligent and young, any cat that passes her, she tries to pranking them, being the silly goofy self she is. Her metal claws always worn with her goggles high on her head.

SUDDENLY, she was tackled to the ground.

"What is the meaning of this Suprize?!" She hissed through her teeth.

"OH, Sorry wrong cat! I'm so Terribly sorry Fair lady." He jumped off quickly, and bowed, dipping his head to Jack.

She snorts, then brightens to her normal self quickly. "It's alright, say, what'ts your name? I'm Jack. We've gotten off on the wrong paw, I assume." She dipped her head back. Mmm...He's Pretty cute, wow... She slipped the goggles off her eyes, showing the vibrant lime green color.

"Name's Joker. Oh, Jack, a very creative and special name." He smiled and winked at her.

Joker is a midnight black tom with dark ocean blue eyes. Flirty, sweet and generous at heart, very charming, But don't let him fool you, he is very silly and goofy aswell as Jack herself.

"T-thank you, y-yours is beautiful aswell, Joker." She smiles back, slightly blushing.

He offered to help her up and used his paw to wipe her goggles off.

"Aye, what is a she like you doing here, anyways?" He sits down, wrapping his tail around his paws.

"Well, my home s' near here. Your welcome to stay for a few nights..Or more.. if you'd like. I could tinker up something special for you too."

"Why am I  Special? What, am i handsome? Your stunning aswell.. hehe..." He cooed to her, walking past her, intertwining her tail with his as he gives a sexy glare back at her.

"U-ummm...b-because... I-I.." She blushed cherry red as she tries to her words that was spilled over board the ship in to the sea, watching his beautiful dark ocean blue eyes.

Joker purrs, holding back a torrent of laughter, but only a mere chuckle came out. Poor Jack's emotions were being toyed with like a simple game.

"Something wrong, love?" He teased walking close to her, an inch apart.

"..." She stands there, speechless at his actions, slowly melting on the inside.Finally she was about to speak, shaking it off, but their tail still intertwined together.

"Come on, It's getting late. Let's head to my home.."She looked him in the eyes and quickly stared straight ahead to the Empty Hollow. He nodded and followed her, Tail connected all the way there.
