The entire classroom was silent for all about four seconds before all hell broke loose.

" You!" Ariana screeched. " Now it makes sense as to why you would stick up for that looser. Because you are one too." She smirked as her gal pals giggled their fake laughs.

Mitch just looked at me like he was looking at a foreign object. In which was making me blush, though I have no clue as to why. I mean he did get some what cute since we had last seen each other, which was like four years.

The rest of the class just sat there with their jaws agape. Yeah so I had changed since the last time any of them had seen me, and I did leave unannounced. I had been so absorbed with the silence that had felled over the classroom that the loud sound brought me back abruptly.

Elle had jumped across a chair and smacked Ariana across the face. If my jaw could have hit the ground it would have. It was the first day of senior year and already I wanted to run back to Britain with my tail between my legs.

Ariana stood there face in shock and her hand on her face. I don't think anyone saw that one coming. She went to hit Elle back when a loud whistle erupted from the front of the room.

"Ok, I see that this is going to be a fun class. We will note that hit as a dramatic expression, just this once. Oh Miss Andres sorry, I didn't realize you were trying to be incognito. Ariana, if any more snide comments that are not part of a script leave your mouth, you will not be welcomed back into this class. Understood?" Jenny was smiling ear to ear. Like she enjoyed what was going on.

"Everyone take your seats and lets get this show on the road." After everyone sat down Jenny began. " This year we will have three major plays. The Fall, Winter and Spring. For those of you who are not seniors, you will be doing a Summer, though if you would like to participate Seniors then you also may. Now, the time in between each play." She stopped and smiled eerily. " Rehearsals for those actually casted, auditions, then essay, essay, essay. This is a Drama class, so those who do not make it in the plays, will have to write a five thousand word essay of the author of the play, the play, and the time in which the play was written."

I raised an eyebrow. Damn here I thought this class was going to be a piece of cake. Hopefully those drama lessons I took at grandmas will help, because I know I don't want to write any essays. I looked over at Elle who I am sure was thinking almost the same thing as me, why did I like acting so much?

I turned back towards Jenny, not before making eye contact with Mitch. Blushing from his intense gaze I quickly looked away. What the mother loving hell was wrong with me. This guy hated me! Why would I blush? Shaking my head I turned my full attention back to Jenny.

" So for the Fall play. We are going to start of the year with one of the most famous plays ever. Can anyone guess?" Several hands shot to the air. Jenny smiled. " Lets make this more dramatic. Whoever gets the answer right on the first try will have an automatic role in the play. Of course you will still have to audition, but you will get a role one way or the other." Everyone's hand shot up then.

"Ariana, your hand was up first."

She smiled smugly. "Romeo and Juliet of course. We all know that is the most famous play out there."

Jenny smiled just as smugly. " Well since you are not that well versed in plays, you can write me an essay on the most famous play by William Shakespeare. It will be due by next class. "

Ariana turned beet red as several students snickered. " But I have cheerleading practice. Coach Carver wont let me skip, I am the head cheerleader."

" Well then you better get started." Jenny went to call someone else.

" Do you not realize that our cheerleading is the number one thing at this school?" Ariana asked seriously. " Our cheerleading squad is number one in the state. I don't have time for a stupid essay, and if you think that I do then you can talk to the Coach." Her gal pals nodded. Even I knew that you didn't mess with the cheerleaders. They ran this school, and even the teachers let them get away with anything. Hell they could murder someone in class, and they still wouldn't do anything.

" We will see about that." Jenny replied. " Samantha, what play do you think we are doing?"

I it had to be a Shakespeare play. I mean out of the top ten plays he had one at five and the first place. I was going to say Hamlet, being that it was the most famous play ever, but I don't think we are ready for that.

" Othello? I know Hamlet is the most famous play known, but being as we are in the Fall, and Othello has a lot to do with the gaining and fall of power, and love, I would say it would be the perfect play to start out the year with." I squinted my eyes waiting for the gavel to come down.

" Correct." Jenny smiled widely. " Othello is a tale of love gained and lost. Betrayal accused at the wrong, and trickery from the real betrayer. If we can successfully pull of Othello at the beginning of the year, then well, the rest of the year will go off without a hitch. "

I stare blankly, I was right? Whoa. Usually Ariana got things right while I got them wrong. Mainly because she would steal my answer. If only invisibility was a gift granted I would gladly appreciate it.
