chapter 10: Sofia fowler is going to High school (the past)

Fowler POV->

When i saw my daughter hugging her first girlfriend i was surprised that she was gay and that she didn't tell me but than again she has always been mysterious about her love life no matter how many times that i asked her she wouldn't even say who it was she would always keep it a secret no matter what and she helped miko with her grades which bulkhead is proud of her for that.

But no matter how many times that i asked her she wouldn't tell me anything even highschool drama related. I remember it just like yesterday,

flashback-> first year of high school

Sofia pov->

First year of highschool and i'm really nervous about it, i mean i have my friends and all but im feeling pretty nervous and dad was at work and her couldn't be here for my first day at all.

Horn honk outside

Sofia said,

"Oh that must be miko."

Walking outside too the car with miko in the passenger seat and they greeted eachother and talked about the first assignment for the day,

Miko said,

"I'm really nervous sofia, this is our first highschool as friends and i'm afraid of giving a bad impression."

Sofia said,

"Miko, your not the only one nervous I am too, so let's just think positive and when we get our first homework assignment we can work on it at my house together, dads doing a late shift at the military so I don't think that he'll be home for dinner at all."

Miko said,

"Sounds like a plan sofia."

When we got too school the orientation had just started and people just looked at us as outcasts just from a glance that people won't like us already, than i saw my friends from kindergarten the techs our back,

Techs said,

"Sofia whats up."

Sofia said,

"Hey gang ready too start the school year with our music and dancing."

The gang said yes and they were really excited too get the year started as well as miko and i and right now when they plan something for the last day of summer i'm gonna confess too miko about my feelings about how i really feel about her,

As the day went by we went back too my house and started homework and surprisingly dad was home for the first time ever and we haven't talked since he became a liaison for whatever he does but he wouldn't even tell me anyway, so whats the point anyway.

When it was nighttime miko went home for the night and i made sure too write down notes for me and her to look at when we get started on study sessions for school, she just needs the right motivation and compromise too get through the school year and not get into detention at school.

Fowler pov->

I said,

"Hey Sofia, time for bed, you still have school tomorrow."

When i went into her room she was sleeping at her desk with the desk lamp on and i just took her too the bed and covered her up and turned off her desk lamp, i worry too much and i haven't been around her since my wife died and right now with the bots now being jack, miko and raph's guardians i'm worried that she might get involved in this mess but, i should probably be worried about miko and my daughter hanging out together but thats a problem for another day.

The next morning

Sofia was already up and out the door and I saw bulkhead and miko taking her too school, and the girls looked happy together and discussing on what too do for school, cause thats when i knew that my daughter has grown up alot more ways than one.
