Sarah was sitting in the passenger seat; her face frozen in a permanent smile.

After all, it was her wedding day. Brendon Urie, the man of her dreams, was driving them to their honeymoon destination. They had been waiting years for this day and it was finally here. The ceremony flew by and the reception transformed them into kids again. The blaring music was easy to get lost in.

Brendon decided to be responsible and made sure not to drink too much at the party, as he knew he would have to drive later. Sarah however indulged in whatever booze she could get her hands on. Taking shots here and there with friends and family, while Brendon danced on the busy dance floor. The party lasted late into the night. It was 3 am before Brendon made the decision to head off. He found Sarah and practically dragged her away from the bar. They said their goodbyes and headed into the parking lot.

Sarah was giggling and stumbling the whole way out. She stabilized herself on the car as Brendon dug through his pockets for the keys.

"Honey, I love you so much," Sarah said gazing up at the stars in the sky. Her words were slurred, but Brendon understood.

"I love you too, baby," He muttered back.

"Did you find th-"

Sarah was interrupted as a knife entered her neck. She looked into Brendon's eyes as he slowly faded away. She slumped over onto Brendon's shoulder. With blood pouring over his white tux, he unlocked the car and helped Sarah carefully into the passenger seat. As the key entered the ignition a soothing voice from the radio filled the car.

I planned each charted course...

Each careful step along the byway...

And more, much more than this...

I did it my way...

Brendon smiled as he pulled out of the parking lot, glancing up into the sky.

"The stars are beautiful tonight, aren't they?" he said to his wife. Sarah was sitting in the passenger seat; her face frozen in a permanent smile.
