"Yes soniku~" she smiled laying her chin on her hands. "Listen I know it's been a couple of years and I was thinking we should get back together." She smiled. "Like hell I would. You never supported how I wanted to live my life you expected me to settle down at 19 years old to become king of the acorn kingdom and take on your last name. I never wanted that that's why I broke up with you." Sonic said angrily. "But Sonic we both come from long lines of royal blood it makes sense to unite our kingdoms." "I told you I have no desire to rule a kingdom that's why I gave up my crown and let my brother and sister take over. Now please leave my office or I will personally send for someone to throw you out." I said very sternly. She looks at me with a jealous glare standing up. "There's someone else isn't there?!" She demanded. "Yes and I'm very happy with her now leave!" I rose my voice. "Who is it?! Mina?! Fiona?! Blaze?!" "No all three are happily married." "Then wh-...... It's that whore Amy Rose isn't it!" "SHES NOT A WHORE YOU BITCH!" I yelled "DO YOU EVER CALL HER THAT AGAIN!!!! NOW LEAVE MY OFFICE OR ILL HAVE YIU ARRESTED FOR REFUSING TO FOLLOW AN OFFICERS ORDERS!" I said pointing to the door. "One more thing before you go DONT ever come near her or me GOT IT!" "Got it" she growled leaving and slams the door cracking the glass. I shoot Amy a text tell her what had just happened and how furious I am with Sally. She responded quickly saying "Don't worry Sonic you handle it and told her off if she comes to the café and starts shit I will let you know ok? I love you." I smiled and texted back "I love you too Ames" and start working on the first file.

One thing I dread about this job is the long hours. I yawn and look at the time 6:47pm. "Greet 5 more hours to go" I groaned typing on my computer. I get a knock at the door. "Come in." I said not looking away from the screen. The door opens and I catch a glimpse of pink. "Ames?" I look up and smile seeing her stunning face. "What brings you here?" "Have you had dinner or lunch yet?" She asked sitting in the chair across my desk. "Not really" I said and my stomach growls. "I thought so here I brought you lunch your favorite. Lo mein teriyaki chicken with sugar doughnuts." She smile setting the bag down. "Thanks Ames" I said getting up and giving her a kiss. "I can't believe you remembered" "Well you did mention it last week when we were hanging out at Knuckles's new place." She giggles I laugh with her. "Anyways I'll head head so you can work." She smiled. "Can I come over after?" "Don't you get off at like 1 in the morning?" "Well yeah but I want to lay next to my stunning and beautiful girlfriend" I smiled wrapping my arms around her waist. She smiles and hands me a copy of her key. "See you soon" she smiled leaving my office. I sat back down and look through jail releases I will have to be at in a couple of days. As I enjoy my meal I start choking a bit on the lo mein seeing one name. Ray Dexter Steelhog. "Ooh hell no!" I said to myself. "First Sally now him?! Why the fuck is this guy getting released he almost killed Amy!" I growled and get up to speak with the chef. "CHEF!" "Yes Sargent Sonic?" "Why is Ray Steelhog being released he went to jail for, attempted murder, statutory rape, and physical assault?!" I couldn't keep professional sense I was there when he stab Amy in her leg almost cutting her femoral artery. "Unfortunately he passed probation test and was released on good behavior after 5 years we unfortunately had no say in the matter. "Have they thought about him going back to the girl he almost killed?!" Chef sighs and nods. "But unless she calls saying he won't leave we can't do nothing about it." I walk out furious.

I completed my shift and head straight to Amy's I know it's sudden but I'm going to ask her a important question. As I shoot her a text saying I'm here at her house and entering now so she knows I'm coming through the door. "I lock the door behind me and head straight upstairs. She lays in her bed in a beautiful silk red tank and shorts reading a book on her tablet. "Hey Ames" I said walking in. "Hey sonic I been waiting for you." She said looking up smiling. I run the back of my head. "Listen I know it's sudden but would you move in with me at my place?" I asked and her face looks confused. "Sonic it's too soon I don't think it's a good idea." "Please Ames..." I said crawling into bed. "Sonic what's wrong?" She said knowing I'm worried about her safety. I sigh and get up. "Ray is getting released this Friday and I thought sense he doesn't know where I live and you be safer living with me I mean you don't have too you can stay with Knuckles or Peach or your brothers. I know you're a strong woman and you can kick ass but I know Ray will come here and hurt you again because he knows how you fight..... and I don't want that to happen....." I feel my eyes water up. Amy crawls to the other side and stand on her knees in the bed wrapping her arms around my neck. "Sonic I would love to move in with you. I rather be with you more than anyone I know." She smiles and kisses me.
