[ at the age seven ]

"i won the school's spelling bee!" he proudly showed the trophy he's holding as she smiled widely and clapped her hands while looking at the trophy.

"that's awesome? is that a real bee?!" she asked making him chuckle before he shook his head. "it's just carved." he said while she looked at it with amusement.

"that's cool!" she said and looked at him with a huge smile on her face. they then both sat on the window before swaying their feet as the cold wind passed through their skin.

"yuna, i still don't know where you school." he said and looked at her. huening kai noticed the frown on her face making his brows crease as he was confused.

"are you okay?" he asked and worriedly looked at her. she smiled at him before looking at the stars above them. "can you see that star over there? it's a little bigger than other stars right?" she skipped the topic as he nodded while looking at the star she's pointing at.

"it only comes every thrice a year, you can wish on it!" she said before clasping her hands together. "do you want to wish together?" she asked as he immediately nodded before he followed her gesture.

"i wish that kai will make his dream come true." she said and giggled before opening her eyes. "what about you?" she asked as he closed his eyes too.

"i wish yuna stays with me forever." he said froze for a while and look at him with a sad smile on her face.

[ at the age eleven ]

"what do want to be when you grow up?" she asked and looked at him while swaying her feet. "i want to be a pilot one day." he said and looked at her.

"how about you?" he asked as the familiar frown appeared on her face. "are you okay? is there something wrong?" kai worriedly asked as she shook her head.

"nothing." she said as he nodded before resting his head on her shoulder. "im sorry for asking you that question." he said as she smiled before resting her head on his.

"you don't need to be sorry, there's nothing wrong."

"t-then why did you suddenly become sad?" he asked and looked at her before sighing. "are you sure you're okay yuna?" he asked as she nodded and smiled with assurance making him smile.

"if you say so."
