"it's autumn." chaeryeong muttered and smiled. she then placed the book she's currently reading on her nightstand before standing up as she walked to the closet to choose warm clothes to wear.

after choosing she then changed and took the book she's reading before heading out of the house. she then walked to the park which was filled with kids running around while some were flying kites with their parents. chaeryeong sighed and went to sit under the tree as it's orange leaves fall from it's branches.

she then let out a small smile before opening her book as she started reading it. she sighed when thoughts suddenly came up in her head. she wasn't just here to read a book and relax.

every september until november is the season autumn, there's a reason why she loves this season not as she used to. she would always go to the same spot and just sit there waiting for him, the very first man she loved.

"meet me again in autumn." was his last words before he left her, just like that.

chaeryeong sighed before looking at the waves dancing in the ocean. the bright sun's light reflected on the water and it just reminded her about him.

she sighed and shook her head before adverting her eyes back to the book. she suddenly felt someone poke her shoulder so she looked up and saw a little boy smiling at her.

"hi noona! you're so pretty." he said making chaeryeong smile. "thank you." she said before the little boy took a lead that fell from the branch of the tree. "it's from my hyung, he said i'll take a leaf and give it to you since he couldn't find a flower." the little boy said making chaeryeong chuckle.

"can i ask who's your hyung?" the little boy pointed at a guy who was far away from them looking at the ocean. "are you both blood related?" she asked as the little boy shook his head.

"tell him thank you." chaeryeong said as the boy nodded before running away. she smiled and kept the leaf in the pages of her book before looking at the little boy who was now talking to the guy.

she froze.

she stood up as her eyes started to water not even noticing that she already dropped her book on the ground. she covered her mouth to stop herself from crying when the guy looked at her and smiled.

the little boy looked at her and ran away to his mother. the guy stood up and smiled making more tears fall from her eyes. she ran as fast as she could and threw herself on him hugging him so tight afraid to let go.

"how dare you leave me like that kang freaking taehyun!" chaeryeong exclaimed and hugged him even tighter. taehyun sighed before cupping her cheeks as he gave a soft peck in her lips.

"don't overreact chaer, i was just gone for a week then you start crying." taehyun said and chuckled while chaeryeong glared at him before hugging him again.

"but you said 'meet me again in autumn', that sounded like you're gonna be back next year's autumn!" chaeryeong exclaimed while taehyun smiled.

"it wasn't? you're just exaggerating things-" he then felt soft lips on his cutting off his words. he chuckled and snaked his arms around her waist pulling her closer as their lips moved passionately.

"you could've just said 'i'll be back after a week' or 'don't worry it's only for a week' rather than saying 'meet me again in autumn' it sounded like you were gonna leave me! i even just went on the same spot under the tree over there everyday when autumn started so that i could just see you!" she ranted while taehyun shook his head while chuckling.

"okay okay im sorry, let me make it up to you then." he said and intertwined his hands with hers. "let's eat lunch together hm?" he asked as she pouted and nodded.

"don't be sad okay? im here already." he said and gave a peck on her lips making her flustered. taehyun smiled and swayed their hands together while walking to his car.

"you know what, i love you." she said and poked his forehead harshly making him rub it. "ow! but i love you more~" he said and gave another peck on her lips making her eyes roll.
