De'Angelo had been texting on his phone since dinner but Kaylonie pretended not to notice.
As he put his cellphone away and crank up the car he asked,
"Did you enjoy dinner?"
"Yes I did."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it."
"The lobster risotto, cheddar biscuits, and creole shrimp in garlic butter sauce."
"Yeah, Henri has some of the best cooks in the world."
"Where are his parents at?"
"They are visiting family in Louisiana."
"Oh okay then."
"Why'd you ask me that?"
"I was just wondering that's all."
"I am dating someone right now she's from Valdosta."
"If you're dating her what are you doing here with me?"
"She and I are in an open relationship."
"An open relationship?"
"Yes, she and I agreed to see other people while seeing each other."
"Do the other people know?"
"Well, yes we are all apart of the same Poly group."
"Poly group?"
"Yes we are all poly and I want you."
"Well what if I don't want to be poly?"
"Why wouldn't you want to be poly?"
"I enjoy being faithful to one person."
"Thanks Lil baby you can be faithful to me."
"Very funny nigga, very funny."
"Naw Lil baby I'm just playing with you on that so chill out."
"Oh okay then I'm glad to hear that."
"Yeah."
"So when we get to my place I will let you meet my girl Yvonne."
"Your girl?"
"Yes she is my lady and if you play your cards right you can be my lady too."
Kaylonie rolled her eyes and folded her arms across her chest.
A few hours later they arrived at Venice Condos in Jacksonville...
They pulled in and around then parked and got out of the car.
"This is my Condo right here number 16."
"Okay then."
"Alright then let's get inside I can't wait to show you around."
They walked up the steps and he grabbed the door knob and twisted it.
"Honey I'm home!"
"I'm in the bedroom love!"
De'Angelo looked at Kaylonie and gave her a wink and a smile and rolled her eyes.
They walked into the house and into the living room.
There was purple furniture everywhere.
A purple sectional, futon, loveseat, with matching inn tables.
Kaylonie thought the place was very well decorated and comfy.
They finally entered the bedroom where there was even more purple.
