Lamorak didn't know how to react or feel, since the townspeople could have possibly died, got robbed, or injured. He may be a knight of the round table, but his curiosity, pride, and love of speed may get in the way.
There are many time he has been put down for having time to himself. If he could provide for others, why not provide to himself. He felt like there was something more to his life than just serving a king. He doesn't mind helping others, but he also one side of this tells him to let it go and start off brand new.
Thinking about what Percival told him, he got up and sped to back to Camelot. When he arrived, there were broken structures, markets, homes, and injured townspeople getting carried to safely. The citizens looked at Lamorak in sadness and shame then back to what they were doing.
Lamorak looked around the castle to see if anyone needed help, and then he saw a little girl that was struggling to walk.
"Hey, let me help you."
Lamorak approached the girl until an adult came from the shadows and defended her.
"Don't get anywhere near my daughter! You irresponsible fool"
Lamorak sighed and walked out of Camelot Castle in shame for his own mistake.
"Maybe they don't need me anymore!"
Lamorak tried to shake the feeling off as he took off his armor, except for his boots and sped off into the deep woods.
