Dancing in the rain,
To avoid any pain.
My head in the clouds,
When I'm in a crowd.

Being by the sea,
Makes me feel so free.
The sand in my toes,
Now that can go.

I wonder off into the woods,
Just to try to find my childhood.
I can't seem to find it,
Then again...I never had it.

I am someone you would notice,
Someone you would talk about.
I am someone you would call Obnoxious,
Then you would walk a new route.

People come and go,
So I try to not get attached.
I try to be alone,
But I always latch.

"What's wrong with me?" I wonder,
That I may never know,
I can be as distant as thunder,
And as cold as snow.

I can be as carefree as a bird,
And party all night till I'm blurred.
I can be a knight in shining armor,
I can be a real charmer.

I'm as fragile as glass,
I'm not strong like brass.
I ignore my own needs,
So I can help those around me.

I think that's naive,
You know, ignoring those things.
But I want those I love to feel like kings,
Only then will I feel relief.
