“In the middle of a solar eclipse
I'd like my first love to be smooth
Even if it may be the end of the world
I'd like to feel my mind slip into bliss
With a simple first, and last kiss
Even if it's painful
Or deadly
At least I'll have something
To help my mind ignore it
But then you came
And turned my wish upside down
As if you owned it.”

YOUR POV

“'Ey, bro, what are you doing?” (Brother Name) asked.

“I'm reading a book.” I looked up from my book to look at my little brother, who now stood on my doorframe. “What's the matter?”

“There's a guy on the front door looking for you. His name is a bit odd... Who names their kid 'Macaque'?”

“Oh, I know who that is. Don't worry, it's a friend of mine. Just go back to sleep and I'll handle this.” I got up from my bed, patting B/Ns head as I walked past the doorframe.

He nodded and went back to his room as soon as he let me through.

I made my way to the living room, going to unlock the door, seeing a soaked Macaque on the porch.

“'bout time you showed up..! I was starting to think you fell asleep too...” Macaque grinned. “Can I have something to clean myself... please?”

I chuckled, finding him looking this vulnerable was really cute.

“Sure, just give me a sec, alright?” I smiled and went back inside, heading to the kitchen island to grab a towel.

It wasn't much for the situation, but it should do fine.

I walked back to the front door, finding Macaque tapping his foot on the carpet, almost impatiently.

“Here you go, you damn skinwalker.” I joked, handing him the towel.

He turned to grab the towel and quickly began cleaning himself from the rain, shortly before coming in.

“Stupid weather... it was better back then, how is it this bad now?! Couldn't this stupid rain wait a bit before soaking my new shirt? Gahh!” Macaque grumbled before he came inside, clean of the water he got all over himself from the rain.

“Lower your tone, don't wanna make the silly egotistical gods angry.” I joked again, letting him come in as I snatched the towel from his hands to dry it off on the kitchen.
