Caleb

He didn't know what to say as he followed behind her. He felt like a sleazebag. Was he one? His thoughts at the moment were incredibly loud and negative. He was an idiot, and a sleazebag, and that's probably why he has spent the first 18 years of his life without a girlfriend or any sort of female attention.

He's a loser who got extremely lucky with a girl way out of his fucking league, and he still managed to fuck it up. She's never ever going to speak to him again, he worried. Oh fuck. He continued to watch and follow behind her.

What is fucking wrong with me? Her brown skin looked even more amazing outside, and he could still smell her. Coconut and vanilla all over and on him. He was thinking if the same could be said about her. If his stench was on her now. He had defiled her, not even an hour ago, but of course like the sleazebag that he was, he couldn't stop himself from wanting more of something that he seriously didn't deserve.

While she walked, he could hear her sniffling. She was crying, but trying not to. The land his family owned was very large. So it took them a while of walking to arrive at his house. By the time they  were outside his house he couldn't hear her crying anymore.

Once they were inside the house, everybody noticed how different they were acting. Specifically the aggressive space she intentionally tried to create between them, and that you could still kind of tell that she was had been crying.

And also Caleb, who resembled more like a frightened wet puppy that had been whipped and beaten an inch of his life than the boyish and extroverted young man that he usually presented as.

His mother whispered something in his dad's ear. Everybody smiled when Dove got to the table, but ignored him when he hovered close by behind her. Dove told his parents that she had decided to stay in a hotel in the end. He wanted to object immediately after hearing that. She didn't fucking need to stay anywhere else, but his opinion probably meant very little to her right now.

His mother at least, had some sense. "A pretty girl your age has no business staying in a hotel alone by herself. You came to visit our son so it's best you stay here with him."

He could tell his parents still thought they were dating or something. Before, the assumption made things awkward and everything because they were just friends and nothing more, but now, it actually hurt to watch them try and imply anything was going on between them. Because he had probably ruined their friendship and any chance of them ever being anything.

"I assure you, I didn't only come here to visit your son."

"Georgia is a beautiful state. I will make sure to call, if ever I need any help. Your family has been more than hospitable."  She said, then left to go upstairs. I want to die.

They all looked at him. "What the fuck did you do?" Written all over their faces.

Henry was close by, but he hadn't noticed. "Did you guys break up?" Caleb turned to look at his brother. Who looked worried, and a little sad. "Shut the fuck up," he mumbled to himself and rushed to follow Dove once again.

....

Inside the room, Caleb saw her bending over stuff trying to find her bags and things. What could  he even say to "You treat me like a toy."? It didn't make sense to him why she was angry, but he couldn't argue his way out of the fact that he had fucked and taken her virginity in a goddamn shed.

He wasn't thinking, and she hadn't been too. He couldn't stop himself. She was standing there, willing him to take her and he had barely any control to not let it happen exactly where it had happened. Because he was an asshole. "I thought you wouldn't care, but you do and I'm sorry okay."

She heard yet completely ignored him. "I didn't think you would care this much where it happened."

"Are we still cool? We're still friends right?"

"Friends don't fuck each other, so I guess we were never friends were we?" She said in a quiet and controlled tone.

"Oh my fucking God." He stepped forward. He regretted that he was letting his frustration and fear at the possibility that this was falling apart come out. It was quiet for a while. Dove stopped trying to mask her anger at him.

"You know I have a feeling you don't actually care at all about this and you're just trying to find a reason to be mad at me." He accused and she frowned very deeply even while still trying to ignore him.

"Like, I know you more than I know literally anybody else in my life. And you don't care about that stuff." He said.

"Because I'm a slut that's down for anything?"
"No, what the fuck? I never said that,"

"Because you're just you." He said.

He was worried that people downstairs would hear them arguing, so he went back to close the door behind him.

"If you didn't want it to happen there, why didn't you tell me to take us somewhere else?" He asked, but she didn't say anything. He was getting seriously pissed off at her for refusing to give him answers.

" I don't think treat you like a toy," he argued and walked towards her. "I'm sorry if you feel that way, but I don't."
He tried grabbing a hold of her shoulders, but she walked away not letting him touch her.

"I think what happened was weird."
"Why? I didn't force you to do anything."
"I wanted you. You really wanted me," He said, pushing his hair back. "You kissed me first!" She yelled. " You're the one who let me. And you let me fu-" "You're my friend Caleb." She said over him.
He moved his arms and shoulders very expressively and tried saying something, but he kept stammering like he was completely at a loss for words.

"Why does that matter? Why does it make having sex with you a bad thing?"
