"The plane ride to New Orleans was very miserable," Aaron thought to himself. "That darn kid behind me kicking my chair, the guy in front who kept leaning back, so I had no space, and I had to sit between a couple who was fighting over shampoo and laundry detergent." Aaron thought so hard that he was sure that the woman next to him could her him.

After about two hours of waiting in line to leave the airport, Aaron went to his new home. As Aaron drove his rental car he had gotten the week before He looked around at his first glimpse at America. New Orleans was different from his foreign home in England. There were people dressed up every where, glitter flying through the air, masquerade masks everywhere. "What is going on," Aaron thought.

"Hey, sis, what is going on," asked Aaron to his sister in the backseat.

"Mardi Gras, genius," said Amber, "That holiday that's celebrated in France, here, and Belgium, how could mother send you to boarding school when you don't even know on of the biggest holidays celebrated here?"

"Oh right, I forgot," Aaron said.

"Hey, what did you stop in London that made us drive an extra two hours of driving," Amber asked, demanding an answer.

"I'll tell you when we get to school," Aaron said.

About 45 minutes later they made it to school. The school was huge full of smart kids ranging from 9-17. The front sign said Notches Boarding School in big cursive writing.

"Okay, what did you get," Amber asked again.

"Wait till we get to our room," Aaron said.

The walked in, the doors were heavy and inside looked like a fancy french hotel. Aaron walked up to the front counter.

"Excuse me, hi, I'm Aaron Oakyte and this is my sister, Amber, we are students and we need a room or rooms, if that's not to much work."

"Sure thing, sugar plum, go sit over there and I'll get it set up for you," said the lady.

Aaron sat there watching the second hand on the clock on go around and then looked at Amber texting on her phone and realized how to much he looked like her.

"Aaron, Amber Oak why ta," the lady called.

'"It's Oakatee, Oakyte," Aaron stated.

"Aaron room, 265, and Amber, 266, as siblings you are required to have rooms next to each other, school rules," the lady stated. "Also I must say your really early."

"What do you mean, early?" Amber snapped.

"The school semester doesn't start for a month or so," the lady said.

"UHHHHHHHHGGGGG," Amber groaned.

"Remember how dad went to Hong Kong to start a division for his company and mom went with him," Amber said.

"Oh yeah."

"Is anyone else here?" Asked Aaron, trying to be more polite than Amber.

"Well, let me see, yes, there is a girl named Jade Hert, on room 254," said the woman, "besides her, you're the only ones here."

"Okay, thanks"

They took the elevator to their rooms. Aaron went to his room and started unpacking. Amber went to her room, got on the bed, and started texting. Aaron than found the present his father had left him before he left. He started to unwrapped, and Aaron couldn't believe his eyes, it was a...
