"Wow, really, your the Jade Hert," Aaron said. Jade became to scoot away from Aaron.

"What do you want?" asked Jade.

"Your the only other person at Notches besides me and my sister," said Aaron. Jade was short with long brown hair. She had brown eyes and she her skin was pail.

"Yeah so," Jade said.

"Do you have anyone you know that is here with you?" asked Aaron.

"Um, no."

"Well, me and my friend are sitting over there, wanna come sit with us?" asked Aaron.

"Yes! I mean, yeah sure." Though Jade acted like she didn't need friends, Aaron still knew that Jade was looking for a friend, just like him. They sat and talked for about an hour, Aaron had just lost track of time.

"So, how old are you?" asked Aaron, "I'm fourteen."

"I'm fourteen too, my birthday is in May," said Jade. They left and went back to Notches. "What do you want to do?" asked Jade. Aaron looked over at Mary and all the paper work and many papers to file.

"Let's help Ms Mary," Aaron suggested.

"Okay," Jade said, eager to help. They both went up and asked Mary if they could help her. She said yes and they quickly began to help. Aaron then remembered how Mary had called him, honey.

"Why did you call me honey?" asked Aaron

"Sorry sugar, I forgot you ain't from around here," Mary began, "it's just how we talk here in New Orleans." Aaron now felt very relived. Aaron than remembered about Amber and her room.

"I'll be right back guys, I have to go see my sister," Aaron said. Aaron went through the elevator for the first time since he had been to Notches. Went around the corner and opened Amber's door. The room was pink and sparkly and Amber was folding some clothes in her closet.

"Wow, Amber, I am impressed."

"I know, It is pretty great, now about the London Tower gift," Amber said. Aaron then inspected the room.

"Okay you deserved it," Aaron said. Aaron ran back to his room and pulled out a bag from under his bed and ran back to Amber's room.

"Okay, here it is," Aaron said. Aaron pulled about ten different phone cases for Amber. There was a red phone booth, a Double Decker bus one, a Big Ben one, even a phone case with the British flag on it.

"Wow, thanks," Amber said. Without knowing what else to do, Amber got up and hugged Aaron. Aaron knew that even though they thought different they couldn't love each other.

"Okay, see ya," Aaron said. He ran back down stairs and got back to helping Mary and Jade.

"Hi Aaron," Jade said.

"Hey Jade, I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go around New Orleans on Mardi Gras?" asked Aaron, shivering with fear.

"Um, yeah, we celebrated it in Belgium, that's where I lived." Though Aaron did not think of it as a date, Jade took it that way and realized that she might have a crush on Aaron.
