Aaron started at his gift he had received from his father. It was a marron book and said Conner Oakyte in really bad cursive writing. He found a note under the book, it read,

Aaron, I see that you have opened my gift. The book you are holding is my journal when I went to boarding school in Switzerland. I hope this helps through out you school year. Make us proud, Love Dad and Mom 💜

Aaron now missed his family even more now. He needed to go calm down. He had to do something as the school semester came, of course not fast enough. He had been at the school for three days and he had done nothing productive. He came to make his parents proud not sit here and do nothing. Aaron decided to go see if he could find a smoothie shop, he was very thirsty because of the humidity. He went down stairs and when he got to the lobby he saw the lady that first greeted him when he first got to Notches. "Hello again," Aaron said awkwardly.

"Hi, Aaron was it?" The lady said, with a southern draw, that he had only heard one other time by her grandmothers friend, who was from Mississippi.

"Yes, and sorry I never caught your name," Aaron started.

"Mary, Mary Gardner."

"Do you always work here?" Aaron asked.

"Why do you ask Aaron?"

"Because every time I go to the bathroom, you are either answering a call, or filing paper work, or playing Chess on the computer, with yourself." Aaron said.

"Aaron, we're friends, right?"

"Of course"

"I've been doing the same job, doing the same thing, for ten years," Mary said, "I'm lonely Aaron, all I have is a gold fish." She became to sob, just as his mother had done. It broke Aaron's heart.

"We're friends," Aaron said, trying to make Mary feel better. She then went around the counter and gave Aaron a hug. Though he felt uncomfortable, he knew it was for the best. "I am going to the smoothie shop down the street, wanna come," Aaron asked.

"Really?" Mary asked, wiping away the tears.

"Of course, we are friends right?" Aaron winked.

"Thanks Aaron, I'm glad you came to Notches."

"I'll be right back, I'm going to get Amber, my sister," Aaron said. Aaron went in the elevator and went to Amber's room. Aaron knocked on the waiting for a reply.

"Who is it," Amber asked.

"It's Aaron."

"What do you want?" Amber asked.

Aaron walked into Amber's room and noticed that nothing was done or unpacked. "Why haven't you unpacked yet?" Asked Aaron.

"I'm waiting for the maids," Amber said.

"Amber, remember when I went went to London tower to get that special something?" Asked Aaron.

"Yeah"

"If you unpack and put everything away properly, I'll tell you what it is," Aaron said.

"Okay, I tidy my room," Amber said.

Aaron walked out of the room, went down the stairs to see that Mary was already to go with her pocket book.

"Ready to go," asked Mary.

"Yes, let's go."

They walked out of the foyer. As they walked off the campus, Aaron looked back at the same sign he saw when he went in. They walked for about twenty minutes. "You don't get out much do ya, honey?" Mary asked.

"No," Aaron said. Aaron was confused why Mary would call him honey. Was this a secret date? Aaron just wanted to be a good friend. When they got to the smoothie shop, they were the only ones there except for one girl sitting by her self. She was short with straight brown hair and hazelnut brown eyes. When she smiled she had dimples and she had a short nose. While Ms Mary was ordering Aaron went over to talk to the lonely girl.
