"What are you doing?" My father asked me
"I'm getting us out of here." I said
"Yeah...about that—"
Before Kj could finish what he was saying my eyes light up red and I fell back into the red light.
Soon I saw Josie, Hope, Nick, and Elias.
"What the hell?" I asked
"You need to get out of there!" Hope exclaimed
"What? Why?" I asked
"My father is making a plan to kill you guys." Josie says
"Shit! You have to stall him for like 12 minutes." I said
"I could do that." Nick smiled
It was weird.
"Okay...go team I guess." I said
Soon I fell out of the red light and on to the ground.
"You working that red eyed magic like a boss, I suppose you read my diary."my father smiled.
"Yeah and it's not fair that she gets all the magic and I get nothing, the fucking ancestors stripped me from my magic." Kj complained
"I guess it wasn't meant to be." I laughed as my dad crackled
"That's not even remotely funny." Kj says
"Enough with all this we need to get the hell out of here before alarat tries to leave us in here." I say
"Let's go." My dad says

"If we don't save her then my father will kill them both, and he doesn't know that might effect us." Josie says as she walked back and forth.
"Why can't we just go get her back before your dad does?" I asked
"It's not that simple as it seems" Josie assured
"How do we get her back before your dad does then?" I asked Josie
"I don't know..." Josie says
"I do." Alyssa walked into the room
Our eyes shot to her.
"What do you mean...you know?" I asked as I turned to her
"I know a thing or two about ascendants, I can help you get them back as long as you promise me something in return." Alyssa says
I rolled my eyes, I should have known that she was going to ask me for something.
"What is it?" I asked
"Uhh—I want a date, a date out with you." She says
I nodded my head slowly letting her know I'm taking in the information.
"What...what do you mean with me?" I asked
"She wants to go on a date with you, and you are wasting time so yes or no?" Josie crossed her arms.
It was either saving Kayla and the rest of our lives or go on a date with Alyssa....
"I'll do it." I said
She smiled
"Good." She smiled
