-Are you feeling any better?

She nods

-Way better

-Are you still cold?

-No, and you?

-Not at all

She nodded

-Sure?

He nodded back

-How's that you can be so sweet yet, you decide to do something like what you were about to do?

She gets no reply

-Adam?

-Is it ready yet? - he was talking to the cooker who affirmatively nodded.

-Almost

-Perfect, can I have a number 2 next to that?

-Sure, coming.

He turned back at her

-You're gonna love this

She stood up

-I'm leaving

He didn't even blink

-Where you going?

-Does that even matter?

-Of course it does

-Then why you keep ignoring me?

-Because it ain't the best place or time to talk bout it

-Well, I think you've made your decision

-So?

-So I don't wanna be near to see it

-That's exactly the opposite of what you said before

-Well I changed my mind

She was standing up as he remained sat on the table.

He shook his head, like trying to clear that out, and stood up right in front of her.

They were quite close to each other when he said:

-Please - he moved his hands below without taking his eyes off her.

A sound brought her back. A tap on the table. And a plate on it.

-Eat - but it seemed more like a slightly desperate request than an order, so she sat back.

He took his plate as  well, and sat closer of her.

She couldn't deny it, she felt extremely relieved, and the smell of the food, next to its warmess, made her feel, even better.

-I heard it was the best for after dizzines - he said as she looked carefuly at her cup of chicken soup

She took a sip, then a bite, then aother couple of sips and bites. He smiled, and replied:

-God! you were rigth - she continued almost slurping -I love this

He sweetly smiled at her

-I'm very glad

He started eating as well, and for  the past couple of minutes they continued eating without talking, slurping here and there, he letting a brief laugh scape every now and then when he heard this, and by the end of the night they both felt, happy, warm, and satisfied.

He stood up and offered his hand to her. She hestitated but took it at last, standing up next to him, they started walking.

- I feel absolutely better, really, thank you - she emphasized

-No problem

-How bout you ?

-Me what?

-How are you?

-I'm good

-Really? - she faced him, while walking by tilting her head upfront him, he laughed

-Yeah, I'm cool

-Does that mean that..?

-No

-But you don't even..!

-No

She frowned and stopped

-You really ain't talking bout it aren't you?

Then he paussed, and turned to face her and say:

-I had a great time as well

Was that a smile?

-I truly did

She was petrified, as he was completely given away; that made her shrug, feeling ill after her: not -so -long- ago, happiness-cozy moment

A sigh of tensous realive and she slightly bowed her head while forcing a smile as she said:

-Thank you

They smiled at eachother and he parted on his way as she remained there, cold and strained, watching him leave; wondering, if that was the last time, they'll ever meat.
