-Sorry... That was just a random thought I had

He briefly laugh

-Of course it was

She shrugged

-Will you be fine? - He asked

-Will YOU be fine? I mean seriously I...

-Don't

-But I...

-Please - He looked at her with pleading eyes - Don't

She quietly nodded as he just stared at the cup, taking it away from her hands

He stood up, and she did the same by impulse. When he heard the sound of her movement, he turned around inmediately to check, then gave her the back by walking away to throw the cup on a trash can.

She stood up there alone with cold, covering herself with shaky arms, staring at him as he leaved. Feeling moved and confused.

When he was almost out of her sight, he slightly turned around to shout:

-I'll be right back!

She sat back down feeling relieved as hell, and after 10 minutes, he came back with a nice colorful blanket.

The look at his face was the same, as nothing ever happened. But the one at hers?...

Priceless

She opened her eyes and mouth so big that she looked just like that Whatsapp emojie (👁️👄👁️) and he was there for it

-What...THA..?

-I'm a magician

-How?!

-I won it on a game

-What kinda game gives blankets as a prize?

-Is a carnival, anything could be a prize

-Come on!

He sat next to her

-Ok. I got it from the churro's old lady

A small brief laugh

-What? How? I mean is a blanket? Omg, is she cold now?

He was staring at her with an expression she couldn't describe, until he cracked up, and laughed

-Hahaha, of course not

-Then how you got it? Oh, you bought it didn't ya? God I'm so broke..

-Stop with the money shit, and no, that's the best part, it is free

-What?! Really?

-No

-Adam!

-Hahaha, I told you, I won it

-No you didn't it!

-Yes I did, I wont it with my money

-Adam!

-Hahaha

-Come on! You said it was free

-It is free

-You paid for it!

-Exactly, so it's free for you

-Oh come on!

-Agh! lets get something to eat, I'm starving.

-Adam!

-Just come on

He took her hand this time, and with a gentle pull she stood up.

They started walking around and it didn't take too long before she saw the Churro's old Lady waving at her from the booth with another blanket on her top just like hers. She smiled waving her back, while she kept holding the thing in between her fingers. His hand gently touching her back again.

-Over there - He said

And they sat on this nicely settled dinner table, right up front to the food stall, and next to many other just like it; with the smells of delicious food running through the air, and the night lights of the fair, bringing up the evening, to it's end.
