It was weird knowing who her soulmate was. She didn't even know the guy that well, but she already knew that she was to marry him. She had said little words to him in fear that he might bring up what the colors meant. So they both sat in silence as they rode to her apartment.

"We're gonna have to talk about this sometime, you know that, right?" And the silence was broken, that meant that there was no way Natasha could avoid social contact today. She sighed deeply and tried to look for the right words to say.

"I know, but, " She paused and thought for a second " I don't really want to talk about this right now." She kept her eyes fixed on the road. It was quiet again.

They pulled in to the apartment complex and made their way to her place. After explaining that he was on the run, Nat decided to let him stay in her spare room. It's not like she needs it anyway, she doesn't have any other friends.

"Would you like some food? " She said quietly. He didn't even acknowledge that she had said anything. She raised her voice a little and repeated the question. He looked up and nodded. "Are you deaf or something, because I said that twice and you didn't even respond the first time."

"Actually," He started "I am half deaf. You just didn't speak loud enough."

"Noted." she replied. Natasha had this way of keeping her thoughts organized. If she said 'Noted' that meant that she wouldn't forget that piece of information becuase it was important. She went into her small kitchen wich faced the living room. Her apartment was nice, and really big. The kitchen was open, the counter had no wall and made it easy to see her television from the stove. She put on a pot of tea and a pot of Spaghetti-O's. She took a second to go over the events that had happened in the previous hours. What was she going to do? Her soulmate was sitting on her sofa and waiting on college kid food. She decided that now was a better time than ever to go talk to him.

"Hey." She said awkwardly and sat next to him, but didn't look at him in the face. He was actually really attractive, she noticed. His pale eyes made him look a bit older than he actually was, and his skin tone was fair and slightly tanned.

"Hi. " He shifted a little and looked at anything but her. But he knew as well as she did that they needed to talk. "So, about the whole soulmate thing, what now?"

"Talk abou Net it?" She suggested. "We can't just live in silence forever."

"Well. Let's look at the facts. We are soulmates. We barely know each other. We just killed about five people. Oh. And we both are murderers. "

"When you put it that way it makes us sound perfect for each other." She smiled and he laughed. The stove beeped indicating that the Spaghetti-O's were done. She went and retrieved the two bowls worth of food. They ate in a comfortable silence while watching a stupid documentary on spiders.

Natasha ended up fallin asleep with her body leaning on his. Clint didn't dare move in fear of waking her, she looked cute sleeping anyways. He clicked the television off and grabbed the mearby blanket. He slowly put the blanket on her and tried his best to stay as still as he could. After a while, Clint fell asleep with his head on the arm rest. They both slept peacefully.

The next morning Natasha woke up with her arm draped over Clint's torso and her head resting on his side. He was still asleep and it didn't look like he would be up any time soon. She got up silently and made her way to the kitchen. On the counter were two envelopes. One was addressed to her, the other had Clint's name on it. How? No one knew he was here but her. The envelopes had a circle stamp that had a design that looked like an bird and the initals S.H.I.E.L.D. She opened hers and read the letter inside. She went and woke Clint up. This was going to be a strange day.
