Chapter 8: Lovers

Another day in the life of Y/N L/N. He was in school and walking into the library to find a book he would need for one of his classes and heading to the cafeteria to meet up with Nino and Itsuki. As he walked in, he was confronted by Fuutarou.

"Hey, you're Nino's boyfriend!" he stated.

Y/N looked at him for a moment and said "uh, yeah. I am. Is there something you want?"

"Nino's contact info. You remember, I'm here tutor and I need it so I can contact her of course," he told him.

"Okay, I know you're her tutor and all, but I don't feel comfortable with giving another guy my girlfriend's contact info. And she wouldn't feel comfortable with me giving you her contact info, and she hates your guts," he replied.

Fuutarou stood there and thought about it for a moment. "Can't you just take her screaming at you? She'll forgive you!" Fuutarou said.

"No," Y/N bluntly told him.

"Damn it," Fuutarou responded. Y/N walks away and Fuutarou looks at him. "Can you at least tell me where she is?!"

"Shush!" a girl told him. "There's no screaming in the library."

"Sorry," he said before rushing over to Y/N. "Can you at least tell me where she is?"

"I'm not telling you that either," he told the tutor.

"Come on! You helped me out with Nino before!" Fuutarou stated.

"That's because you were going to lose your job. You're not going to lose it by not getting her contact info or not knowing where she is," Y/N retorted.

"You don't know that!" Fuutarou replied. Y/N gave him a look that said "really". The tutor turns around and runs off.

Y/N finds the book he was looking for and checks it out. After that, he leaves and meets up with Nino and Itsuki. "Hey, girls," he said.

"Hey," they said back.

"Did Uesugi come and bother you two?" he asked.

"Ugh, yes," Nino answered.

"He gave me his sister's contact info for me giving him my contact info," Itsuki told him.

"Good... deal?" Y/N responded.

"Crappy deal if you ask me," Nino said. "Anyway, Fuu Fuu left his little book with me."

"Of course," she answered. "Later though."

Y/N sighs as she stuffs the little book in her pocket. "At least you're gonna give it back," he retorted.

"Hey, Y/N, are you going to go on the camping trip?" Itsuki asked him.

"Hmm?" he responded.

"An event the school is doing. There's a dance by a campfire everyone does and it is said that whoever you are dancing with by the end of it will be your lover forever," she explained to him.

Y/N felt his cheeks heat up and turned to Nino. "Hey, Nino, a-a-are you going to g-g-go to the camp?" he asked her.

"Hmmm, I'll only go if you go," she told him.

"Then I'll go," he replied.

"Looks like I'm going then," Nino told him with a smile.

"Great," he responded with a smile as well.

"Gotta make the doggy happy," Itsuki said.

Both of them glare at her while she takes a bite out of her food. "And we gotta keep the piggy like you happy with food," Nino retorted.
