where I help you write Latine/Hispanic characters for your fics.
☪︎. I decided to do this little book to help out those who want to include Hispanic/Latine people in their stories but might struggle with it for any reason.
☪︎. You don't need to be Latine/Hispanic to write characters Latine/Hispanic characters. Like please go for it! I would love to see people from other cultures write more about us. But, like anything that is unknown, you should do some research on it.
☪︎. I think it is so cool and amazing when I see Latine/Hispanic characters in fics, but some people, sometimes intentionally or not, fall into stereotypes and the same basic holes. One can easily tell when the writer did it for brownie points, failing to do actual research, and when the writer actually cares. So here is me making it a bit easier for you.
☪︎. We need so much more diversity guys, the world is not just one country one type of person. We want to enjoy the reading experience, but that can be hard when we are written off to a bunch of stereotypes or just awful stuff. And it is especially annoying when authors don't even try.
