Chapter 8

              "What was that?" I ask as Colby locks the door coming over to me as I wince.

"Baby I'd never hurt you" Colby says, his voice cracking as I look up at him.

"I just don't like the way Jake's all over you" Colby says plopping down on his bed.

"Colby," I say, walking over to him.

"Yea" he says looking up at me with sadness in his beautiful blue eyes.

"Jake wasn't all over me, he was just playing around," I say with a small smile as Colby shakes his head.

"No he wants you" Colby says with anger in his voice.

"No he doesn't, even if he did so what" I ask looking at Colby closely as he looks down.

"Yes he does, and ur mine" Colby says looking up at me angrily.

"No Colbs he doesn't and exactly" I say, placing a kiss gently on his lips.

"God I love you" Colby says as we pull away.

"I love you too Colbs" I say with a smile as he pulls me onto him as he falls back making me giggle.

"I wish we could be like this all the time, and ya know not have to hide it" Colby says looking into my eyes.

"I know, but right now we need to, Sam would lose it if he found out" I say sadly.

"It's okay baby, we will make this work" Colby says holding me closely.

"Good" I say laying on his chest, listening to his heart beat.

"Mhmm," Colby says, playing with my hair.

"Hey are y'all good in there" Sam asks from outside the door.

"Ughhh" I groan as Colby chuckles at me sitting us up.

"Yea we're good" I say getting up going over to the door unlocking it to see a concerned Sam.

"Okay, Colby, why did you snap on Jake like that bro?" Sam says going past me into Colby's room.

"Just some personal stuff bro, don't worry about it" Colby says looking up in my direction.

"Okay," Sam says, turning to me.

"Your pictures are in your room by the way with your camera and film I'm giving you" Sam says with a smile.

"Thanks Bubba," I say, hugging him before heading to my room.
