chapter 4: tempest

5 YEARS LATER IZUKU POV

I've been in the Galar region for the past five years. the egg dad gave me turned out to be a gible egg and now it's a gabite. and then we met Bede. when we first met Bede he . . . well he was Bede and he couldn't beat me, eventually he joined us on our adventure and he is the only other person that knows i'm tempest. Bede's quirk is called psychic, what is does is it lets him blast someone with psychic energy it can make light headed to a major headache and his type specialty was psychic and fairy. now i am rank 9 in the ultra class as tempest, and rank 56 in the ultra class as izuku with gladion as rank 63 in the ultra class and bede being rank 65 in the ultra class.

and then about 3 years ago when dad had called me to see how i was doing.

FLASH BACK 3 YEARS AGO

Bede and i were battling and Gladion was watching us and making sure gabite (gible at the time) didn't trash our campsite. i beat his final pokemon hatterene, with lucario using bullet punch. "i was going easy on you that time" Bede said as an excuse for him losing. "what ever you say" i replied back. then my phone started ringing.

"let me get this" i said picking up the phone. "hello" i said answering it. "hello izuku it's been a while since we last talked" dad said. "oh hey dad, how are you doing" i asked. "good, and yo-" he was about so say but was cut off by the loud slam of the front door. "let me go see what happened" he said.

he walked down stairs and i heard the sound of crying through the phone. "put me on speaker and act like i'm on the phone" i whispered to him. "ok" he said back. "what's going on" he asked who ever was in the room. "it's izuku. i've been a terrible mother" it was inko. "and i've been a horrible sister". izumi said.

"what do you mean" dad asked trying to sound clueless. "we've been neglecting him ever since he was declared quirkless" inko wept out. "we need to go find him to apologize" she said. "it's a little bit to late for that" i said through the phone for them to hear. "i-izuku is that you" inko said taking the phone from dad. "izuku where are you" izumi asked.

"i won't tell you where i am, that would just ruin all of the fun i'm having" i said. "what do you mean ruin the fun, what are you doing" inko asked. i sighed "well i've been in another region with friends for the past two years" i explained. 

inko and izumi gasped. "are you ok. you need to come home now" inko said. "no i don't think i will" i said. inko cryed even more "w-what do you mean" she said crying. "you have been neglecting and abusing me for the past 6 years before i left, now why would i want to go back" i said getting annoyed. "b-b-because where your family and we love you" she stuttered out.

"no you don't. i won't go back but i will give you a hint on where i am" i said. "yes please" inko said getting hope. "the hint is there's pikachu here have fun finding me. bye dad" i said. "bye izuku" he said and i hung up.

BACK TO PRESENT

bede, gladion, and i were boarding a plane to the yuuei region. we were going to join UA highschool for pokemon trainers and heroes. 9 hours later we made it to the yuuei region. "been to long since i've been here" i said to myself. "where to now" bede asked. "we have one month until the UA entrance exam, so lets give it our all during training" i said attempting to get them excited but i didn't work at all. "let's just go to where we are staying" i said disappointed that it didn't work.

then we made it to our apartment and dropped off all of our stuff. "so is there anything interesting to do around here" bede asked. "don't know, but i could make something interesting happen" i said growing a devilish smirk. "ok let's go do that then" he said getting up. we left the apartment and gladion followed. "you guys want to see an epic battle" i said. "sure/ya" where there answers. i pulled out the mask i where as tempest and put it on.
