After three weeks. Layla wakes up in Osrides laboratory and makes her way to Kefer's chambers, but falls mid way. She felt strong arms holding her. Turns out it was Anubi. She pushed him off her and went home.
At the Braksi estate, Layla's POV.
I went home and was greeted with a surprise. Zayla and her son Kareem were sitting on the couch. I was confused amd could only scratch my head in confusion.
As I was about to go upstairs. I heard a familiar voice, Anubi. "What are u doing here." " I'm not here to fight. I only wish to stay here for a while."
Anubi then explained that Exaton ordered him to kill Zayla and he refused to do so. So Exaton banished him and two weeks ago he joined the golden army. I sighed and went upstairs angrily. I went in my room and began to read a book that contained my family's history. Mira walked in and looked at the book in awe.
After two hours I went downstairs to eat dinner with the others. We all ate dinner together and usually began to talk about our day. My mom asked me where I was . And i told her that i was in egyxos. Anubi looked at me strangely , not knowing that my mother knew about egyxos long before my father's death. My mother listened carefully and told me that Anubi would be staying over for a while until Exaton and his soldiers left him alone. I agreed and after eating I took a shower and went to bed.
