They were all sleeping. All six of them. I stood behind the glass wall. They looked pretty varied in age. They all were also varied in skin tone and had different body types.

"Sir," it was Agent M. " The scientists... they don't have a device yet that can convert these kids' genetics back to their original state." "Sir, in my opinion I think it might be... permanent."

I looked at her face, she looked sincere.

"Well are any of these children's 'powers' unstable.

"The blonde girl over there can control water. The darker skinned girl can send someone in shock just by looking at them. That one can be controlled easily with sunglasses. The Hispanic boy can produce fire from his body but from what one of my agents told me, can't keep his emotions in check. The small kid over there can turn into anything living; animals, people, etc. The girl over there with the short hair can shoot beams of electricity. The last boy over there. The tall one. Can shoot spikes from his body. All of these seem quite pretty controllable. If trained maybe they can possibly even be weaponized."

I looked at her. She was serious. I, personally did not believe in the practice of weaponizing childeren, however these kids seemed capable of knocking out our biggest threats.

"Wake them up so we can chat. I guess they'll have to be trained."

Agent M looked at the kids and then at me.

"I will sir" She took out a metal rectangular object and pressed a button that was within it's center.

The kids immediately woke up from the coma-like sleep that they were in. They're faces all looked confused.

"Harmony!" one of the boys screamed.

I walked away from the glass and went into the room with the kids. Their eyes were all pointing in my my direction.

"Hello everyone, my name is Agent J and welcome to the Dome. You guys probably know why you're here-

"You kidnapped us" the short boy said.

"Yes, but-

"My mommy's probably looking for me-

"Yeah I got a sick mom at home and I don't have time for this" the Hispanic boy said.

"Your parents have all been alerted of your whereabouts. Whether that explanation was one that is real is debatable. Our scientists here don't know if your new 'powers' will ever be fixed but you need to stay calm so we can help you train-

"Yo don't know if our powers will ever be fixed. I sent my brother in a coma!" The girl with sunglasses said.

"Well I think this is all pretty cool. I'm willing to do it. I almost stole a car with mine, I guess the next step would be saving the world,"said the short haired girl

"Well I'm not a juvenile delinquent like her and I for one think that I am not capable of helping mankind. this plan of yours is immensely flawed. I just want to go home," the blonde girl looked more sad than angry.

"What's the matter pretty girl? Are you afraid to get your hands dirty? I bet this blonde couldn't punch someone even if her mother was in trouble."the short haired girl looked at her menacingly.

"Shut up!" The blonde screamed

"Girls I know I'm beautiful and oh so attractive, but please fighting for me is never the answer. Sharing is caring" it was the tall boy this time. "I know you guys want me"

"I want my Harmony"

"I want my brother, oh God is he still in whatever I put him in?"

"I want my mommy"

"Kids, all of you. Your loved ones are fine none of them have died. I need you guys to stay calm and tell me, and everyone else, your names," I told them this so that they could stop being counter productive and get to what really needed to be done.

"I'm Aurora"

"Luis"

"Aisha"

"I'm Danielle and I for one think that this introducing names thing is quite elementary.

"My name is John and I love talking about my feelings and long walks on the beach"

For some reason I started to see tears forming in Aisha's eyes

My phone buzzed with a text message. It was Agent M. I read the message first and then I fully comprehended it.

"Im Jake but my mommy calls me Jakey"

"Ok guys well you should bond, get to know each other and I'll have one of my agents, Agent M, escort you around so that you can get a sense of the facility we have."

As I walked out of the room Agent M walked in

"You're not telling the boy about Harmony?" Agent M asked.

"The boy, Luis, need to remain focus. A lot is at risk is coming with this project; the kids' safety, our safety. The worst thing we can do is to have the boy loosing focus. Please we need to not tell him at this time."

"As you wish sir" agent M began to talk to the kids. I had more important matters to handle.
