Y/n POV
"The stone beings are scattered all over Paris, and for the time being they are showing no signs of movement. Police have corned off the area." Nadia said as I watched the news.
"We won't stop until we find a way to get these people back to their normal selves. But for now we're not making much headway." The mayor declared. I frowned but kept watching.
"Paris is relying on our new guardian angels, Ladybug, Chat Noir And White Fang to save us all, our lives depend on them." Nadia finished as I saw Marinette look at the T.V with worry.
Tom also saw this and put a hand on her shoulder. "Listen, I know how upsetting and scary this is, but don't worry sweetie. We've got three superheroes looking out for Paris, and the best way of helping them is to show them that we're not scared, because we trust them." Tom reassured her.
Marinette looked down. "But what if Ladybug fails?" She asked him.
I smiled at her reassuringly. "Don't worry girl, this is their first time, I'm sure they'll all get the hang of it. Nothing can be learned in a day." I told her.
She looked at me uncertain for a bit. "Y/n's right, and if all else fails, I'll come and save you two. Super baker to the rescue!" Tom posed. Marinette and I giggled at him as she hugged him.
"Thanks super dad." She said and kissed his cheek, then she left towards her room.
"Thank you for making us feel safe Mr. Dupan." I thanked him and also hugged him, then I left towards my room for my bag.
"C'mon Nyx. Time for school." I said to my kwamii. He yawned and went inside my bag.
"I'm excited to see what your school looks like." He told me with an excited smile.
I smiled softly at him. "Calm down now. We'll be there soon." I said and closed my bag and walked towards the living room and waited for Marinette.
She came down and looked at me with a smile. "Ready to go?" She asked me.
I smiled back at her. "Yup! Let's go." I answered and we both left to school making small talk while walking.
When we got to the front of the school we saw Alya come towards us. "Hey girls! Check this out. Ladyblog, bringing you all the latest news about the coolest new superhero, Ladybug. How awesome is that? Check out the number of views since I posted the video." Alya said, showing us her website.
I smiled at this but Marinette frowned. "But, why do you trust Ladybug so much? All these stone beings..." Mari trailed off.
"She's gonna handle 'em." Alya reassured her.
"But, what if she's not really cut out to be a superhero, even though everyone thinks she is?" Marinette asked.
"What are you talking about, Mari?" I asked her, trying to act confused.
"Oh, wait. I know what this is about." Alya said as she got closer to Marinette who gasped thinking she found out. "You're scared. But don't be, I've seen her with my own two eyes, girl. Ladybug is a true super-heroine. She's gonna protect us all. I believe in her." Alya told us.
Marinette looked shocked at her speech. Alya and I walked together as Mari was standing there thinking then caught up with us.
"So, you really don't remember anything?" I heard someone say.
Alya also heard and we both looked to the side as we saw everyone crowd Ivan.
"You were totally going ballistic." Juleka told him with a smile. "It was so cool."
