Author's Note: this might be short and all but Yaeh (I know how to spell "Yeah" but my friend and I uh said we're gonna say that instead😎)
Espresso woke up to an aggressive alarm, slowly reached out his hand to the nightstand and turned it of 'Jeez so aggressive for no reason..' the mage thought.
He got up, and got himself some brown themed clothes.

He walked out of his room, and there he was. in his living room. He decided to sit down on his couch and go on his phone so he could kill the time.
-time skip to 6:15-
After some minutes the mage decided to check the clock "Ah, I better get going." He mumbled under his breath. He walked out of his house and went to the café
-Time skip-
Finally he arrived.
"Ah, Espresso! Over here" said a familiar voice The mage turned his head to see madeleine sitting at a table with two chair's and an umbrella above. He was wearing some blue baggy jeans, a light yellow shirt. Nice and basic i guess?

The mage walked over and took a seat next to the blonde.
"Well, how are you doing Essy?" The taller one said.
"Very well, just I prefer you to call me 'Espresso' Do you mind?"
"Of course not Espresso! It's just fine."
"Great, Thank you."
There was silence for a bit until the waitress showed up.
"Well, Hello there! What could I get for you?"
After ordering there was silence until madeleine questioned...
"Wait, Espresso?"
"Mhm?"
"Why don't you sleep at all exactly?"
"I haven't I told you this before?"
"No I don't think so."
The mage sighed, he was about to open his mouth to speak but the waitress came with their stuff. Madeleine ordered a Latte and Espresso ordered of course an Espresso (but no cannibalism) and they both got some sugar-coated donuts.
"Hope you enjoy!" Then the waitress went of.
"As I was saying..."
"Sleep is an amount waste of time, work is important."
"But you're not working now?"
"I finished my last experiment so I'm basically on a break."
"Oh."
There it was, the awkward silence. Well, while they were awkwardly eating/drinking their stuff.
"Hey, Espresso?"
"Yeah?"
"Can I stay at your place for the night I have nothing else to do."
Espresso hesitated for a moment the only reason why he is being calm and gentle with Madeleine is because he kinda felt bad for being rude all those days before.
"Fine, As long as you don't bother me while working."
The other just nodded his head as a reply, then they were having a conversation about something? I'm to lazy to find something atm.
"Oh! Eh, Espresso. It's getting late shall we go to yours now?"
"Ah, your right. Well then we'll head there I guess?"
On the way home Madeleine was talking and Espresso was listening calmly, they got to the house tho Espresso was most likely zoned out.
"Espresso? You okay...?"
...
"Espresso?" "Espresso!" "Earth to Espresso are you there!?"
"Ah! Yes sorry..." The other replied
"...You okay?"
"Yes I was just thinking don't worry."
"Hm." Madeleine mumbled under his breath
"Did you say something?" The mage questioned
"Ah, no I didn't"
The mage nodded, and then he got his key out of his pocket and opened the door.
"Make yourself comfy while I go work again."
"Ok"
