I had do find the other wolf. I heard its howl. Smelled its fur. Felt its presence. And with this new found energy the soldiers closing in didn't have a chance. I dashed into the crowd of people, preparing to plow my way through but sure enough they repelled away naturally like the same charges on two magnets. I had to shove a few screaming scientists out of my way, but I didn't kill any of the tiny people... they were kinda cute. I heard someone running towards me from behind, but I had to keep going. I plowed through the crowd, getting into a clearing quickly. By now half of the scientists had evacuated, and room was opening fast. Vaguely I heard firecrackers in the next room, what I could only assume was gunshots. Someone was advancing on me fast, so I turned around and shuffled back. Scale was sprinting towards me, knife in hand. Over his shoulder I saw that the room was clear of all scientists but soldiers were spread out, investigating their weapons. Up above, snipers were reloading there rifles. This got interesting pretty fast.
Scale jumped at me and I snapped into focus. He slashed his knife at my face just after I pulled my head back out of the way. I felt the air that the knife displaced. But he didn't even take a breath before landing and lunging at my torso with the knife. Instead of running, I used my longer limbs to my advantage. As he was lunging, I kicked my leg out as strong as I could and got him right in the gut. Hard. I swear his eyes popped out of his head. I kicked him back at least twenty feet but he did a backflip and landed on his feet, instantly taking off towards me. Something told me the training wheels were off. Maybe it was his knife. Maybe it was his lack of a casual smirk. Maybe it was because his eyes were glowing. That's never a good sign. Then I remembered something. Snipers! It's a good thing I took off sprinting on all fours when I did because instantly a chaotic meteor shower of bullets decimated the spot where I was previously. I was sprinting a large lap around the dome while avoiding gunfire when it happened. Behind one thick metal gate was the werewolf. I smelled the dirt and grass odor of it's fur. And I hear the growl of a beast. Trap or not, I was finding the other werewolf. The second I stopped bullets were all around me. I stood on my hind legs, grabbed two bars, and pulled the gate off of it's hinges! I threw the gate at Scale (who was still in pursuit) but he rolled out of the way of it's destructive tumbling. I leaped through the doorway and into a whole new fight. And it looked fucking awesome.
I was behind a group of soldier firing semi-automatic weapons at a group of beings. That's right, group. What I saw before me was a werewolf like me but slightly smaller and with dark grey fur. He was backhanding melee soldiers causing them to fly and slam against the wall. Beside him was a teenager a little older and taller than my human form. I'd guess he was around 21. He had many features, but the one that stuck out was that he was made entirely out of rock. He was straight-up punching people sending them flying. But there were two more figures as well. I didn't have time to observe them though, Scale was almost on me and I had eight little henchmen with there back turned to me. They might as well have been served on a silver platter.
I pounced in the middle of the row of gunners and caught them completely. I landed on four of them, instantly knocking them out. Three guys were to the left of me and one was on my right, but they were all momentarily paralyzed. I sweeped the guy on my right with my tail, and before he hit the ground I used both of my hind legs to kick him like a horse, surely taking him out of the equation. I turned to the trio of people to my left, standing up from my position on all fours rapidly. While rising, I scrached the torso of one of them in an uppercut-fashion. He fell to the floor instantly. One of the two men snatched his weapon off of the floor, but as he aimed it at me I bit onto it with my massive jaws and threw it at a wall, pleased as it smashed into a million pieces. Then, while my jaws were warmed up, I chomped right into the guy's left shoulder, my teeth sinking through his armor and entering flesh. When the taste of blood filled my mouth I released my jaw and he crippled to the floor. Seven down, one to go. The remaining guy turned and ran into a corridor, but before I could take a step someone had leaped onto my back, damaging my balance. I felt cold metal enter my flesh and I yelped in pain. I backed up into a wall but Scale just grunted and tightened his grip. Then I felt a set of teeth enter my flesh, and my blood felt thicker. I couldn't support my weight and I collapsed, feeling my head throb and my heart slow down. Then I blacked out.
