Mom had me in a bear hug out side of the airport and wouldn't let go. I swear my face was turning purple by the time she released her arms from my torso. She truly was going to miss me. I'm gonna miss her too. I smiled at her and said my billionth goodbye. A frustrating hour of long lines and waiting for luggage later and my plane arrived. I looked out of a window at the mechanical dragon. It was pretty cool, but I thought planes were bigger. I walked amongst others into the plane and found my seat in the center aisle. Luckily for me, no crying babies.eventually a voice boomed through the speakers above, and I found out our pilot's name was dave and that we would be taking flight soon. Dave told us some basic airplane procedures, and ended by telling us to put on our seatbelt. The plane built up speed down the runway and lifted off of the ground. I felt pressure in my head as the plane climbed, and when it leveled out I listened to people all around me gasp and take a few deep breaths. Then, after we lifted off of the ground, I noticed the plane was pretty crowded. What's the term? Agoraphobia. Thats the freakin term. Brilliant. I'm heading to New York, the most crowded city of all, and I might be afraid of crowds. The plane trip wasn't bad, and I would tell you it was an adventure, but honestly I was asleep most of the trip. I'm still new to this disappearance of nightmares. Next thing you know I'm being shaken awake and I'm leaving the terminal. I walk through the airport's front doors and see buildings. BIG buildings. Wow. I roll my suitcase down the busy sidewalk to an empty bench and sit down. I lay the suitcase on my lap and pulled out an envelope. From the envelope I drew a map. I walked down a few blocks and saw the location mom marked with an 'x' on the map. I expected to see Fargas' house but instead saw what looked like a shop. It was a one-story building with two big glass walls on either side of the front door. I looked up at a neon sign. It was daytime, so it wasn't turned on. It read: 'Faries to Fact' in purple letters. I walked to the front door and saw a sign. It said closed in big bold letters, but I noticed fine print at the bottom. If very important, go to the back. I peered through the window. I saw shelves and counters, but no people. I glanced left and right on the sidewalk. No one cared what I was doing. Everyone was in some hurry. I classified seizures under 'important' so I walked down an alley on the side of the building. I turned the corner and WHAM! A baseball bat connected solidly with my skull and I passed out.
