This question can be answered by previous chapter "its all about perspective" easily enough and ignored there after, but it is a very intimidating question in my eyes. What IS and WHO is important? (in an authoritative sense) age does not level intalect, there are child prodigies and juvenile masterminds that are undiscovered by society, the world should not look up to our elders for support if the youth is were the true genius lie, the majority is not always right, therefore, we should look to the most true and just quotient not just because the majority believes that it is right.
There are children with a higher IQ than some grown adults.
This question could also relate to school. Is it important? After all, you teach yourself language. You cannot teach a blind person color without sight, you cannot teach an infant language unless you have language to communicate with. Maybe elementary school should be mandatory but not through middle and highschool. Ask yourself? Is it important?
