Summary: "I'm the watcher, tasked to watch over Trolberg against all that threatens it. Like my grandfather did, and his ancestors before me." The boy sat on top of a cliff underneath the moonlit sky. The girl spoke, "That's good and all but don't you ever get lonely, watching from afar?" The boy chuckled "No, no I don't. After all this is my destiny,". The girl didn't believe that.

Part 1 – Tiny Mumbles

The valley. A rich land prime for the opportunistic. Fenced in by mountains on all sides as sunlight barely peaked over their lofty peaks. Where freshwater flows down and out to the fjord that meets the sea.

Where wildlife remained untamed, unbound, and unbroken. Where creatures such as Woffs, Giants, and Trolls play their role in the natural cycle. Roaming as they please without the worries of the slowly but surely spread of civilization.

Though to the naked eye, it might seem to be an untouched piece of paradise. It's not as untamed as one might think. In reality, it's a densely populated region, not just by humans. One sign of a contract later...

A new whole world opens up. A tiny world.

Littering the valley floor is a sea of tiny houses, villages and colonies, that belongs to Elves. Small creatures that are only a few inches in height. Generally white in complexion, have a round head, pointy ears, stick for arms and legs and wear a one-tone dress and pointy conical hat.

They're a secular species and a notable stickler for rules, policy, and such. They like to keep everything structured and organized. To aid them with this, they're fond of amassing several contracts and paperwork.

Stood in the middle of the plain, in its lonesome, a red cabin. It towered over the surrounding elven village, whose populace glance warily with tension at the house. Peek into the windows at the upper floor is the bedroom of a blue-haired girl and her deerfox.

Though instead this morning, we turn our focus to a few elf miles away from her house. In a hole in a hill, there lived an Elf. Not nasty dirty wet hole, filled with worms and an oozy smell. But a humble warm abode.

The curtains of a circular window pulled open. And an Elf's face popped out "What a beautiful day," Alfur chirped, admiring the bright blue sky.

In his bedroom, he went behind a screen and changed out of his usual clothes and into bright red and white winter apparel.

He checks himself in front of a mirror before pulling out a notepad and pen.

"Warm attire check," He ticks off an item on his checklist. Moving to his living room he opens up his satchel and began ticking off the rest of the items on his list.

"Map, check,"

"Compass, check,"

"Journal, check,"

"Travel Permit, check,"

"Appointment letter with the King, check"

"Double check the list." He went up back the list again "Check, check, check, checkity, check aaaaand... Check!" He ended with one final stroke of a pen.

"Alright, I believe I'm all set." He huffs in satisfaction and shuts his satchel. Nothing wrong with making sure everything is prepared for his long journey ahead. Especially when it comes to Giant girl- I mean erm, Hilda. Alfur corrected.

Raps on his front door caught his attention. Alfur perked up. "Oo, just in time!"

He opened and was greeted by another Elf, a tad shorter than him, and looks to be a spitting image of Alfur, albeit younger. The young elf even wore a blue version of his usual outfit.
