You try to find shelter, you meet Ralph

It's been hours since your parents have disowned you and since you left their house to live on your own. You have been walking for hours and hours, it is 2:15 AM and you still have no where to go. While you were walking, it was starting to pour down rain and you were getting soaked by the rain, and the raindrops were blending in with your tears coming from your eyes since you were crying. You continued walking on foot and then you saw a downtown down the streets of Detroit. You saw a Laundromats place to do laundry at, you saw a burger place, a motel, a store and an abandoned house. First you went to the motel to see if you could get a room, you entered inside. You saw an an old motel worker, he was at the reservation desk (yes, it's the same guy who let Kara have a room at the motel in the fugitives chapter).

The motel worker: "Hello miss. Can I help you?"

(Your name): *you were shivering since you were soaking wet from the pouring rain* "H-Hi... I need a room, please."

The motel worker: "That will be $40."

(Your name): "Okay..." *you pull out your wallet from your purse, you open it up and all you have is a $20 bill, you pull it out and you reach it over to the motel worker* "Will this work?"

The motel worker: *he looks at the $20 bill and he looks back at you and he starts to chuckle mockingly*

(Your name): *you were confused when he started chuckling* "What's so funny?"

The motel worker: "Is that really all you got?"

(Your name): "Yeah... why...?"

The motel worker: *he keeps chuckling* "I should've known..."

(Your name): "What's the big deal, man?"

The motel worker: "You can't stay here."

(Your name): "You don't understand! My parents just disowned me and they kicked me out! I need a room. Can I just stay here for free...?"

The motel worker: "Sweetheart, you really think I'm gonna let you stay here for free, then you're wrong. You can show yourself out."

(Your name): *you flip him off* "Fuck you, dude. Your motel looks shitty anyway."

The motel worker: "Yeah, I know. Goodbye now." *he chuckles mockingly*

(Your name): *you roll your eyes and you walk out of the motel* "Fucking asshole... What now?" *you kept looking and you saw the abandoned house and you saw the barbed wire surrounding the house* "I could stay there but I need wire cutters..." *you saw the store* "The store! I should go there!" *you walked to the store and you entered inside of it and you saw a store employee at the cash resister desk*

The store employee: "Hello. Can I help you?"

(Your name): "I'm okay. Thanks."

The store employee: "Okay. Well, holler if you need help."

(Your name): *you nod your head and you start going through aisle to aisle, you saw aisle that has chocolate bars and candy, you picked up a chocolate bar, after you grabbed it, you went through an aisle that have hatchets and then you saw wire cutters, you grabbed them and you went to the cash register where the store employee is*

The store employee: "Is that all for you?"

(Your name): "Yes."

The store employee: *he scanned the chocolate bar and the wire cutters* "$21.98, please."

(Your name): *you take out the $20 bill* "It's not the same price but it's close. Will a $20 work?"

The store employee: "Seriously? That's it? A $20?" *he chuckles mockingly* "I knew you were something the second I saw you come in here."
