It's been several minutes since your graduation party has been over, first your best friend took your male best friend home to his apartment since he just bought a new apartment a week before graduation and then she drove you home. You two say goodbye to each other and you tell each other that you love each other (in a friendly/sister kind of way, of course 😅). After you said bye to your best friend, you walked into your house and you saw your parents sitting on the couch.

(Your name): "Hey mom! Hey dad!"

(Your mother's name): "Hi (your name). How was the party?"

(Your name): "It was really fun. I'm a little tired now but I'm well." *you chuckle*

(Your mother's name): "That's good and we understand that you're tired but can we talk to you, please?"

(Your name): "Uhm... sure..."

(Your father's name): "Sit." *he points at the chair next to the couch*

(Your name): "Okay..." *you sit down on the chair*

(Your father's name): "Now it's time to get serious. This is no joke or anything."

(Your name): "Mom, dad, what's going on?"

(Your mother name): "It's kind of hard to say this but, your father and I-"

(Your father's name): *he looks at your mother with a straight face*

(Your mother's name): *she looked at your father and noticed the straight look on his face* "(Your father's name) and I decided that you shouldn't live here anymore."

(Your name): "(Your father's name)? And I shouldn't live here? I don't understand..."

(Your father's name): "We are disowning you, (your name), okay?!"

(Your name): "Disowning...?!"

(Your mother's name): *she nods her head*

(Your father's name): *he nods his head*

(Your name): "Why...?!"

(Your father's name): "We are tired of hearing about your art shit. It's not a career! It's a dream, do you get it? You don't earn money from it!"

(Your name): "That's not true! My favorite artist Carl Manfred is still famous and he still makes good damn money while he still paints."

(Your father's name): "Oh, right... Like that's gonna be you. Yeah, right..."

(Your name): "Why don't you guys believe in me? Why?!"

(Your mother's name): "We are done with the art, (your name). It's time you focus on a real career! Like us! We own a big financial company!"

(Your name): "You don't think I know? I've known that for all of my life. I don't want to walk in any of your footsteps. I want to pursue my own career. And no one can decide my future for me!"

(Your father's name): "You think you know everything, don't you? You fucking kids..."

(Your mother's name): "We also figured out that you have been doing art with that bitch behind our backs and lie to us. What's her name?"

(Your name): "Are you referring to Scarlett?"

(Your mother's name): "Yes, we knew she wasn't up to good the first time we saw her since you were a little girl."

(Your name): "She's a friend. She was just helping me get better at art."

(Your father's name): "No! She was wasting your time."

(Your name): "I don't get it! Why is this happening right now?! Especially on the day I just graduated! The best day of my fucking life!!"

(Your mother's name): "(Your name)! Language!"

(Your name): "Or what? I'm not your daughter, right?"

(Your mother's name): "Right."

(Your name): "Why is this happening?"

(Your father's name): "We are tired of it, (your name)!"

(Your name): "Tired of what exactly?"

(Your father's name): "The art shit! And you talking to androids! They are nothing but trouble."

(Your name): "They are trying to live their lives like us! They are like us but in a different way."

(Your mother's name): "They are not people."

(Your name): "What's the big deal of me talking to androids?"

(Your father's name): "The people at the office at our business is keep talking about you, we are embarrassed and ashamed to call you our daughter. Talking to androids and doing some silly art is a waste of time!"

(Your name): *you start to cry* "You shouldn't be embarrassed or ashamed. You should be proud of your daughter and who she is! Do you realize that?"

(Your mother's name): "You are not the child we envisioned of having. I'm sorry."

(Your name): "Well, what did you expect me to be? Some asshole just like you two, especially you!" *you point at your father*

(Your father's name): "Excuse me?!"

(Your name): "You heard me! You're an asshole!"

(Your father's name): "Get the fuck out!"

(Your name): "You know what? I will! And I will never come back!" *you ran to your room and you starting packing your clothes and everything you need and want in your big suitcase*

(Your father's name): "Go ahead! Pack it up!"

(Your name): "Shut the hell up!" *you yelled at your father* "You don't tell me what to do anymore. I am an adult! I can make my own decisions."

(Your father's name): "Right... You think like the other kids, you think you know everything and you think you can do whatever you want."

(Your mother's name): "You're not gonna make it as a artist, (your name). You're just gonna end up being homeless."

(Your name): "Oh, yeah? We'll see about that! Because when I do become famous for my art! You're gonna see me on tv and on a magazine and you're gonna realize that you're wrong."

(Your father's name): "Right... Dream on, (your name). You're gonna become homeless and it's something that we care less about. You're an adult, right? I'm sure you'll manage."

(Your name): *you finished packing and you looked at your parents with a glare and you were still crying* "Fuck you both! I hate you all!"

(Your mother's name): "Just go! Get out! We don't want you here!"

(Your name): *you walked to the front door and you stopped and said* "I will go! Just remember as I say this, one day when you look back at the memories, you're gonna regret this and you will try to find me and apologize and would want me back. But just know that when you ask me to come back, I will not come back to you because I want nothing to do with you two anymore just like you don't want nothing to do with me."

(Your father's name): "Like that's gonna happen. Don't come back here again."

(Your name): "Well, don't worry. I don't plan to." *you walk out the door and you start walking down the streets, you were crying while you were walking*

You cried so much that you were starting to give yourself a headache while you were walking, you had no idea where you were going. But all you know is that you're going somewhere other than your parent's house. You couldn't believe that your parents have disowned you but a part of you is glad that you don't have to deal with their negativity and their toxicity but at the same time you're sad, you were sad and angry. You just kept on walking and crying without looking back or turning around.

(Also, before I end this chapter. Just know that you are loved, wanted and important. And your family love you very much, including your parents, even if you always argue, just know that you are loved by the people you surround yourself with, especially your family and friends. I love you all. ❤️)
