Chapter 7

It was a big arena. The third change they were in the fighting ring. There was a spot light only on them so they couldn't see anything else.

"What are we supposed to do" Sin asked as confused as I am. We looked around the circle but it was too dark.

"I don't know, but I wonder who we are going to fight" I say still ready. A slow clap was in the background when the lights finally showed a crowd of goes cheering and roaring. In the big box sat Azazel clapping.

"Welcome to the third challenge" he announced with pleasure. The crowd cheered, then died out to let him speak. "You see both of you have something worth fighting for" he started ", I want to see who thinks they are more important."

"What are you talking about Azazel" Sin asked. He can't be?

"The winner get's their love and freedom. Sin for Chastity and Simon for Esmeralda" Azazel said as the lights shined on the two tied up girls sitting next to him.

"You wouldn't dare" Sin said with anger.

"Try me" Azazel smirked. I looked at Esmeralda and her eyes were alight with joy and fear.

"I will save you" I thought to her. And she nodded as a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Alright, now fight" Azazel tossed in two swords. We both grabbed one as I look at Sin. I can't kill my friend.

"Simon, I've been waiting for this forever" Sin said with a strain in his voice.

"I understand, then save her" I drop my sword making the crowd boo.

"No Simon, I did this to save Esmeralda. My love for Chastity has given me an option that you didn't think of" Sin said with a strong grip on his sword.

"What option" I ask confused.

"Chastity, please forgive me my love. Goodbye and good luck Simon" and with that Sin took the sword and plunged it into his heart. He dropped to his knees with a smile on his face before he fell down face first dead.

"No" Chastity screamed out as she flew down to Sin's now dead body. She cried on top of him, till she grabbed my sword. "Judas, I'm coming my love" she stabbed herself in the heart as well before falling down dead.

"Well that didn't go as planned" Azazel said taking my attention to him. He was now holding a blade to her throat.

No, not Esmeralda.

I stand there with Azazel holding a blade to my throat as I look at the panicked Simon.

"Now it is Esmeralda's turn to choose" Azazel said with a smirk.

"What are my choices" I ask knowing I will do anything for Simon.

"Well you can stay with my and Simon will be set free or Simon can stay and you are set free" Azazel knew that he had me.

Their is another choice. I heard my thoughts say. What other choice? I ask this new voice. You know, but you may not like it. It told me. What is it? I ask still confused. Come on, you know just think about it. It told me.

"Have you made your choice" Azazel asks.

"No, please just give me a second" I say. What does it mean by think about it? I ponder. Why are you here? It asks. Because I am some Angel... And that is when it hits me.

"Time is up what is your decision" Azazel says impatient.

"Let Simon go and I will stay" I say.

"Esmeralda no" Simon yells out.

"Trust me please" I plead to him as a tear runs down my cheek.

"Alright" Azazel said and with a flash of light Simon was gone. And Safe.

"I have a surprised for you" I say looking down at the ground. It's time. The voice tells me.

"And what is that" he asks with a happy smirk.

"I have chosen to become an Angel" I look him in the eye's. He looks angry as a bright light grows around me. My new wings appear from my back and I feel pure. I have chosen to accept my fate and become an angel. With a bright flash of light I was no longer in hell, but in heaven.

"Welcome my child" the owner of the voice stood in front of me. A kind and gentle man, this was god.

"Thank you, but I have lost what I cared most for" I say with sadness.

"No, for you are his guardian angel and will protect him till the day he passes" God told me with a smile.

"Thank you, my lord" I smile.

I was now Simon's Guardian Angel. Unable to ever see him again, but watch over him. I will always be here my love, Simon.
