Final Love

The girl I never payed attention to.

*RING RING RING*  i got out of my bed and grabbed my phone to set of the alarm that I made to wake up for college. then I sat up and leaned agains the headboard of my bed and took my phone to look trough my socials before I get ready for my day I saw a text from my best friend and I decided to respond. 

-HEYY GIRLY I wanted to ask if you are free today so we can maybe go for a coffee I got some important tea to spillll-   

my best friend had a habit of adding extra letters at the end of her sentences, I responded.

-yeah sure id love to. at Mary's diner  at 4:30 pm?- 

-aight see ya. then!!- she answered back.

then I got up and walked to my dresser. I decided to wear a tight mid-tight long black dress with black over knee socks that are a bit translucent.  then I threw my hair in to a ponytail. but because my curtain bangs were to short to fit in the ponytail just left them out and it looked better then expected. then I went to the bathroom an brushed my teeth and threw on some light makeup for the day. I put on my favourite leather DoCMartens and jacket, opened the door and left. On my way to college I stopped by Starbucks to get my usual drink. caramel and vanilla latte whit cream

 when I finally arrived at college I pushed open the door to my English lecture hall and sat un my usual seat. next to me there was that one girl like always. I never really payed attention to her, but today was different.. she looked kinda upset, and her vibe wasn't like always too, something was off. I turned to her ''hey are you okay? you seem upset'' I asked and leaned my head to the side looking a bit worried. ,,Oh- uh yeah I guess so,, she answered. ''sure?''  I asked just to make  things clearer. ''Yeah well-'' her eyes teared up and she   didn't continue to speak. ''do you need a hug?'' I asked, I knew this was childish but hugs always made me feel better when I was upset so I decided to give it a try, ''yes please.''  she said silently, I spread my arms and she comes closer to me then I hug her tightly. ''thank you I needed that'' she said. I gave her a smile then turned away to see if the professor was there yet but he wasn't. The only people in the room whit us were other students that came in earlier too, 6 others to be exact. ''can I know your name?'' the girl asked, this was the first time I actually saw her face, she was so beautiful. the best was her dark green eyes. all that time I went to college I never really payed attention to her, she was just there the whole time. a girl who sits next to me. '' yeah sure! its Rose, whats yours?'' ''Lineah'' she answered. '' I love your name, I never heard it before!'' I said. ''thank you'' she said she looked at me and our eyes locked, we held eye contact, '' wow you're so pretty omg'' I said, I actually did not want to say that out loud but now I did, no going back now. she smiled slightly when her cheeks immediately turned red. She quickly hurried her face in her hands, ''uh- I- thank you.'' she seemed really embarrassed for blushing. I laughed '' did that small compliment really fluster you that bad?''  leaned my head to the side, looking at her, ''yes now stop'' she said. then the professor finally came in and started teaching.

after the lesson was finally over I packed up my things and waited for Lineah ''thanks for waiting'' she said and we walked out together. then we walked down the hallway. I was still asking myself why she is so upset so I decided to go for another try: '' can I know why you're upset or why you were upset?'', ''well, everything is just getting to much for me, its getting so overwhelming, now my family if pressuring me to do a job that I don't want to do like always because i'm supposed to help them out when they're older..'' her voice stared to get shaky thats why she probably stopped talking. '' im really sorry that you feel like that, your parents shouldn't be pressuring you like that'' I answered, I didn't know what else to say. '' I just want to get out of their house, a weekend would be enough I just can't stand their constant yelling at me, its literally driving me fucking insane.'' she said while closing up her sip up sweater.  then I had an idea '' well, my grandma passed away a while ago, so we got her farm.. my parents,  my brother,  my sister  and me wanted to go there on the weekend to work on some things there, you could come with us, and after you could come with me to my apartment or we could stay in that farm so you don't have to go home, obviously you don't have to its just a offer.'' her eyes widened as she looked at me, '' you'd really take me with you?, I'd love to go with you, I bet its so much fun!'' she said happy '' it is!, now give me your number so I can text you when we go tomorrow, do you want me to pick you up?'' I asked, '' yeah you could pick em up my number is **************** ill text you my address tomorrow'' she answered. '' okay well then cya tomorrow!!'' I said and walked away to my next lecture.

*after college*

I took my phone out of my pocket  *4:26pm* where was Lia? I was standing infant of Mary's diner waiting for my best friend to finally arrive ''HEYY GIRL'' I heard her shouting, she was wearing a really short skirt while running towards me '' LIA STOP RUNNING YOU WILL WLASH SOMEONE WITH YOUR SHORT ASS SKIRT''  I shouted back at her, but she didn't seem to listen, like always. when she finally managed to come to where I was standing she well on me and hugged me tightly. ''I haven't seen you in ages!'' she said and finally let me go, ''it was literally only 2 weeks Lia.'' I said while rolling my eyes '' yeah and thats 2 weeks to much! ughh'' she said and crossed her arms infant of her chest. then she pulled me by my wrist to go in to the diner.  we sat down at a table right infant of the big window, then Lia started talking '' alrighttt so you know the delivery guy.. you know. the hot one- I finally got his numberrrrrr! she said while historically moving around her hands. I laughed '' took you long enough'' I said '' uhhh shut up I know   okay-'' the server finally approached our table ''hey ladies. may I take your orders? any drinks?'' I gave my order first: '' one peach strawberry lemonade with no ice please'', I then turned my head to Lia but instead of her ordering she just stared at the server. ''lia.'' I kiked her under the table. she flinched and then just gave me a disbelieved look, '' uh yeah- one mint and coconut lemonade'' she said while not breaking eye contact whit the server. '' is that all for you?'' he asked. we both nodded and he left. ''omg he was sooooo hot'' Lia said while waiving air to her face like she's hot. ''eww no.'' I said and made a gaging sound. '' he was omg!!'' Lia rolled her eyes at me '' it just because you're gay.'' she said  I gasped in disbelieve, '' no I just have taste.'' then the server came back, placed our drinks on our table and left with out saying a word. '' damn rude'' we stayed in that diner for about 2 hours. before leaving. I walked back home again and opened the door to my apartment. I took off my shoes and dress, tree on a oversized shirt and just dropped in my bed. I wanted to read but I had no energy lifting myself back up so I just payed there. face down, and I just fell asleep.
