Efforts - II

Everyone was looking at Virat for the reaction when Ash dropped the news about Rohit being appointed as Captain.

'Vi I don't wanna take it. I don't want to take your place. I swear .. I am not gonna take it" said Rohit taking his hands in his.

"You should take it. Team needs you Ro ! Do it for me atleast .. if I cannot play then I want to see u as captain not anybody else" said Virat gripping his hands.

Rohit didn't know what to answer after that. Because he was still hesitant to take it. Mahi understood that and said - "Lets discuss about it later okay." To which Rohit nodded.

After sometime Virat sat in the balcony for fresh air and others were in the room.

"Bhai do something plz. I cannot see him like this." said Rohit sadly.

"I know Ro. None of us can see him like this" said Mahi comforting him.

"We should try to take doctor's opinion on this again" said Bhuvi trying to get a solution for all this.

"Ya you are right Bhuvi. Do one thing you three sit with him. Me and Rohit will talk to the doctor outside" said Mahi.

While Mahi and Rohit were talking to the doctor .. Bhuvi, Ash and Jaddu were having some conversations with Virat to which he was just sitting silently and listening but still they  were trying without loosing any hope.

Mahi and Rohit came into the room. Rohit just went to Virat and hugged him. To his delight Virat hugged him back and tears started to flow from Virat's eyes. Nobody knows the reason of it but it was always happening whenever Mahi or Rohit were close to Virat he used to cry and try to let his emotions out.

Virat slept after sometime in Mahi's lap.

"What did the doctor say bhai ?"  Asked Bhuvi wanting to know the reason behind Rohit's reaction.

"We asked him what should be done as Virat was not responding to anything. So he told that we should give him anti-depression pills." Said Mahi

"But there is no need of that. I know Virat will be okay .. we are there with him. I am not at all in favour of giving him the pills" said Rohit determinedly

"But Rohit if the doctor told that means there would be some reason behind that right ? If we don't give him medicines then his health can worsened" said Ash trying to make Rohit understand.

"No Ash there is no discussion for this. It's final that I am not giving that pills to him. We very well know how that affects the body. There are so many side effects of it. There is no way in hell I will make Virat go through that .. I will try my best to fight this with him rather than giving him that pills" said Rohit leaving no room for argument and discussion.

"Okay Rohit calm down. We will do as u say okay. We will try our best to make Virat happy" said Bhuvi calming Rohit down.

Rohit moved out of the room to talk to Ritz.

"Bhai what do u think about all this ?" Asked Jaddu as Rohit was not there.

"I don't know ! I am confused but I am in little bit inclined towards Rohit's decision because I have seen how Virat is trying to let his emotions out whenever we are with him so I think we should try ourselves" said Mahi

"Okay I think we should plan something special for Virat !" Said Jaddu.

"What special ?" Asked Rohit who entered in the room.

They discussed the plan among themselves. They were going to execute it in the night after dinner.

Mahi took Virat to the team room. No one was present there. Mahi expected Virat to ask something or be excited but to his disappointment nothing happened.
