Together !

Virat woke up and saw Mahi and Rohit by his side. He just snuggled more feeling the warmth. Mahi smiled at that.

"Did u have good sleep bacha?" Asked Mahi while caressing his head.

Virat nodded against his chest. "Then why don't u get freshen up and then we can have something" said Mahi softly.

"Bhai please thodi der baad" said Virat like a child.

"Vi kuch thik se khaya nahi hai .. atleast kuch kha le phir wapis u can rest na" said Rohit this time.

Virat got up reluctantly and got freshened up. He was gonna say something to Mahi and Rohit but stopped hearing his phone ringing.

He picked it up and moved to balcony. It indicated private number.

"Hello ! Virat Kohli here"

"What do u think that u will get away with your ban ? It's temporary for now. But it's soon going to be permanent. I will make sure that u will not set foot in the field again"

Saying this the caller disconnected and Virat just stood numb.

Meanwhile at the same time -

Hardik, Jaddu and Yuzi were following the selector. The brought Yuzi so that he could record if anything comes up. He was sitting in a cafe.

They heard what he had said to Virat. Jaddu got furious listening and Hardik too. Hardik was about to Go towards him but Jaddu held him back. They didn't want to take any chances.

Yuzi's recorder was on he had recorded that part he said to Virat.

"I have threatened him about the ban. He is already weak so I don't think he will be able to do anything. Thank you for your help in all this. Your money will reach to you."

"But why are u doing this? I am no one .. I just need the money but you .. what is the reason ?"

"That Virat Kohli don't u know what attitude and pride he carries. I wanted to break that. He used to always oppose my decisions and this ruined my reputation.  I became a joke to the other members just because of him. I will show him what is the power of a selector. He will regret his actions"

"So it's a personal vendetta against him. I get it. So the documents I have already given u. My work is over."

Saying this they both left from the cafe. And Jaddu, Hardik and Yuzi left for the hotel.

Here Virat came inside with a face white as a sheet. Mahi and Rohit saw him like that and got worried.

"Kya hua bacha?" Asked Mahi lovingly.

"Umm kuch nahi bhai" said Virat not wanting to repeat those words again.

"Vi don't lie Kya baat hai bata?" Said Rohit.

"Kuch nahi hai Ro" said Virat again.

"Bata na Vi Kiska call tha" said Rohit. "Ha Cheeku kya hua bacha" asked Mahi this time .

"Nothing happened !! Maine bola na kuch nahi hua ! Please leave me alone !" Yelled Virat

"But Cheeku" said Mahi knowing something is definitely wrong.

"Please for sometime bhai .. Please Ro" pleaded Virat wanting to be alone.

"Okay but u have to promise us that u won't hurt yourself .. otherwise no matter how much u yell .. I am not leaving u" said Rohit knowing his anger.

"No I will not hurt myself I promise" said Virat and they left the room silently.

When they left the room .. Virat just slumped down on his knees giving all his strength. Just one thought was in his mind that - "Why him ? He had given everything for the country and played for it. But what is he getting in return .. absolutely nothing"

He just didn't knew how he slept off thinking all that. He was so tried emotionally and exhausted.

Jaddu came with Hardik and Yuzi and rushed to Bhuvi's room telling everyone to gather there.

"Kya hua Jaddu ? Yaha Kyu bulaya" asked Bhuvi.

Jaddu was gonna say something when Mahi and Rohit entered.

"Why are u both here ? Where is Virat ?" Asked Ash as soon as he saw them.

"He wants to be alone for sometime" said Rohit sadly.

"But why ?" Asked Bhuvi

"We don't know .. he got a call and after that only he was really disturbed .. he didn't tell us anything" said Mahi

"We know whose call it was" said Jaddu with Hardik and Yuzi

"It was the call of that selector and this is what he said to him" said Jaddu and Yuzi played the recording.

Everyone was fuming in anger listening to that. Their silence broke with Rohit's yelling -
"HOW DARE HE ????? HIMMAT KAISE HUI USKI YEH SAB VI KO KEHNE KI !!!!!"

"Calm down Rohit .. we have to not act rashly ... we have to think calmly and expose everything" said Bhuvi

"And remember everything we have to do step by step together" said Ash this time.

"We will check on Virat .. u guys carry on with this. Tell us if u need any help" said Mahi

"Bhai u don't worry .. aap Veer ka dhyan Rakho .. we will take care of everything" said Jaddu

Mahi and Rohit came back to Virat's room after an hour or so. They entered and saw him laying on bed in an very uncomfortable position.

Rohit went near him to lay him properly but when he touched his forehead heat was radiating from his body.

"Bhai he has fever" said Rohit panicking

Mahi moved towards him and touched his forehead and felt same. Rohit arranged cold water strips and Mahi tried to wake him up for tablets.

"Cheeku get up bacha !!" Said Mahi softly patting his cheeks.

Virat opened his eyes and saw blurry image of someone saying something.
"Cheeku bacha u have to eat tablets ! Please get up" said Mahi again.

Virat only heard Bacha and whispered- "Papa u came"

Rohit and Mahi were shocked to listen that.

"Papa don't leave me alone" whispered Virat and drifted into unconsciousness again due to fever.

Mahi and Rohit had zero clue what he was feeling right now or thinking.
