My heart beat started racing so fast it felt like it would jump out any second. The soldiers adorning their uniform were lined up behind Ymir with Porco exactly behind her as I took shaky steps forward to the middle. I liked attention, but still, the eyes watching me had somehow made me feel uneasy.
"Ready?" Zeke suddenly appeared near me with a syringe. My fingers fiddled with each other to calm myself down and I nodded while squeaking a small "yes".
"Take a deep breath Liya, it will be over in a moment. Remember this is the result of your hard work." I let out a small smile and closed my eyes, opening it after a second to make contact with Porco. I gave him a small nod and shut my eyes again. "I'm ready."
And within a second after that, a thin needle stuck through my vein on my left arm and a flashing light blinded us all. I was transforming. And right on time i was able to yell, "PORCO!"

Dry. My throat feels dry. I need water. My eyes shot wide open and my head felt dizzy. I was in my dorm room. Water. "Water," my hoarsy voice was able to speak but it was so soft I doubt anyone could hear me. I tried sitting up but even my body was failing me, heat forming in my body. Is this what a titan shifter feels like?
I looked around and fortunately they left a cup of water on my bedside table, my shaky hands started reaching towards it. And as it made contact with the warm glass my grip tightened, hoping I wouldn't accidentally drop it.
Why did my body feel so weak? I took slow and small sips out of the already small cup.
The sound of the twisting knob caught my attention and my eyes quickly shifted to see who was about to enter my room.
Porco. His face full of worry as he entered but it changed 360 degrees when he saw I was awake. "Liya! Holy shit, I thought you were gonna die." My eyebrows furrowed, "die?" I asked, "what happened, Porco?"
His eyes looked at everywhere but me, "well..." he let out a sigh, "I got her heart out, but 30 seconds wasn't enough. I got in the way and you went crazy and that isn't supposed to happen according to Zeke. It was a mess because Reiner had to transform to hold you back but...at least it was successful?" he face formed a sheepish smile while mine was full or horror.
"What? Was anyone hurt?" My worries started to rush out as thoughts consumed me. Luckily, Porco shook his head saying no.
"Though Liya, you do have an urgent mission now."
