I sat at the living room the next morning, next to Ben, that was just playing a game, like always. Everyone else was here too, except for Jeff and Sally. It was cold outside, as winter had started to arrive. I could also start to see small snowflakes on the windows.
The mansion was starting to get cold and I shivered as I felt a current of air pass through. I was wearing black leggings and a loose white sweatshirt, that wasn't much, but for some reason the cold air didn't bother me.
I stared at the books in the table in front of me, after what had happened yesterday with them, about that message and all the confuseness. I didn't want to do something with them anymore. Just by curiosity, I opened the first book when a shadow suddenly appeared from it, floating from above the book. I turned around to see everyone else, but no one had turned to see, I was the only one that could see it...
I looked back at the shadow and its glowy red eyes. It was a strange figure but I could notice horns in it, and strange red lines in its body. I looked, confused.
"I'm bored." I jumped out of the couch suddenly at that, startled. "Sally! When did you get there?" I said when I saw her sitting on the same couch I was sitting just a moment ago and closed the book. "You just scared the crap out of me!"
Ben giggled, still concentrated in his game. I sent him a look at that, but he didn't really pay attention at me. "Blair, can I talk to you for a moment?" I suddenly heard. Slenderman that was standing there, looking serious. "Oh-oh, yes. Sure." I said as I didn't expected him appearing suddenly.
***
I followed Slenderman outside, for some reason he wanted to go there. As we got out, I could notice the pine trees so tall, covered in snow, and the cold snow below my feet, but it was ok, because the cold didn't bother me, as if it passed through me but didn't really touch my skin.
"So... what is it?" I asked him, curious. Slenderman hesitated for a moment, his back facing me. He was so tall, that when he turned to see me I had to look up. "I need you to hear me well, and maybe what I'm about to tell you will be really unexpected..."
I frowned at his words... He's right, I don't know what he's going to tell me, he called me unexpectly, and I don't know what to expect about this. I'll just have to listen, and wait for it...
He hesitated again and... "You have already passed through all this, you just can't remember."
I looked, confused. "W-what do you mean?"
"Listen, this could be really surprising for you, but like I told you already, you have passed through all this. What do I mean? When you found Ben and Jack at the forest, they were looking for you. The last time we had seen you, you were in some kind of coma, but later, you had disappeared. We don't know how. When finally Jack found you and noticed you couldn't remember anything... he knew something had happened with you, and we still don't know what. About the book, it's purpose was for finding your powers but you had already discovered them before... before you disappeared. But also, we thought that if you founded the key, your memories would come back, but nothing really happened."
...
"Even what you did before Ben and Jack found you, wasn't real."
"Y-you mean... that being in my house wasn't real and, and when I went to school... it didn't really happen?... And when I went to visit my house... that's why it seemed so weird? W-what about the man killed? Did that really happen?" My mind was filled with questions, and I couldn't keep them in my mind. Like a bottle that can't contain its water inside for longer.
"Yes... that's what I'm saying. About that man, that actually happened. I think, that happened when you got out of the coma."
"I was in a coma!? B-but why?"
"We don't know, yet. Oh, and another thing... this means you were a creepypasta already. Well, you still are. But, child..." he hesitated. "You're parents aren't alive. I don't know if you want to hear the whole story... but, is up to you."
"I... I want to hear it." Tears had started to fall down my face. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It was all so sudden and... the thing that I couldn't remember a thing about it, was worse than anything...
"There isn't really a curse, you know? The book, the book was like a vessel back to your memories. At least that was what I thought. But it didn't actually work... You were born with something special... wolf ears and the ability to transform into a wolf. You weren't accepted by other kids for that. So you had started to take clases at home. Appart from all that, you had grown happy, and that was what mattered. Until your father fell into a drug addiction, you were 16 then. I remember you telling us this story, it's now weird I'm telling it to you now. But things happened. Well, so you started to discover your transforming powers and people started to think of you a monster. You were upset at that, and worse now that you couldn't get out of your house... One day, your father was very angry at something, there was a fight, and at some point, a fire lamp fell. Things were so difficult at that moment and actually you were turning a bit crazy, starting to hear voices inside your head, all because people didn't accepted you and thought you were a monster. You attacked your father, as a wolf and when you noticed, the house had started to burn down."
"You got out, and when neighbors noticed what had happened. They tried to hunt you, running into the forest. I remember that moment so well. I was in the forest also at that moment. I saw you run and later fell wounded and blacked out. I found you and since then you had been in the mansion, with us. You know, things had started to be better for you, because you knew now that you weren't the only one that wasn't accepted by other people. Until all this happened..."
The sky was white, the floor was white, everything was white, just as blankness. And that's how I felt right now. "W-why didn't you tell me all this before!?" I screamed. "More than a month has passed already, a-and you told me until now? What about my parents? At this moment I had thought they were somewhere, worried for me. Or, at least my mother! B-but she's dead... Now, this has all been a lie!?"
"Blair..." Slenderman called out, but I ignored him. I couldn't stay here anymore, it was all too much. Imagine the trauma this had been before... but now?
I started to run deep into the forest. I felt my eyes different, but I knew that feeling very well now. I felt something hot run down my cheeks, and it was more thick than tears... More snow was falling now, that had got into a point where I couldn't see anything beyond...
After a moment I just stoped and sat besides a tree. I tried to clean the tears from my eyes and saw my hands now dirty with blood. What does it matter now? I hugged my legs and closed my eyes, thinking about everything.
***
I heard something rustle somewhere, my ears moving at the sound and slowly opened my eyes. Suddenly something ran behind a tree and I quickly stood up, getting my dagger out.
"W-who is it!?" I called. Suddenly, everything happened so quickly when something dark jumped into me...
