After a week

Zhan and I went back home after our 1 week vacation and as usual, we are back to our everyday lifestyle which is to leave the house early in the morning and go to work until late at night.

I am here in my office working with a bunch of papers and Zhan was in a meeting in his company.

It was already past 9pm in the evening when I decided to go home.

I went down using the elevator and get inside my car.

I started driving and arrived before 10pm.

I saw Zhan's car already parked in our garagge so I knew that he is already inside.

After I parked my car, I went inside and saw Zhan cooking for dinner.

He saw me and gave me a sunshine smile showing his bunny teeth.

"You're home" he said smiling happily.

"Mn, I'll just freshen up and come here downstairs after" I replied and returned the smile.

" Okay, I'm almost done anyways" he said and continued what he was doing.

I took a shower and changed my clothes after, then I went downstairs.

Zhan was already done serving the food in the table so I sat down for us to begin eating.

"How's your day baobei" he asked and took his first bite.

"Too much work" I responded and ate too.

Tasting his recipe, I am again amazed due to his skills.

"How's it" he asked about the food's taste.

"Awesome" I answere and eat more.

He chuckled at my actions so I stopped chewing and my cheeks become more plump.

"Kawaii" he exclaimed while pinching my cheeks.

(Kawaii means cute in japanese)

"Stop" I said seriously and gave him a death glare.

"Aww. You're so cute that's why" he said and pinched my cheeks again while smiling happily.

I just looked at him in defeat and he just laughed at my reaction.

"Okay okay, I'll stop. Now eat, but slowly, no one will snatch your food" he said chuckling and continued to eat.

We both ate and went to sleep after.

Zhan had turned 35 last month and he's been very busy lately that he doesn't have much time for me.

I understand him since he's doing it for our future and I also have been busy these past week so we barely talk with each other.

Although we sleep in the same bed but we're both tired to talk and sometimes, one of us goes to sleep first since we don't come home at the same time.

Right now it is already 6pm in the evening and I came home earlier than usual.

I came home earlier because I am preparing for my marriage proposal.

Remember when I asked him about his ideal time for marriage?

He said that he wants to get married at the age of 35.

Well, for me it is the perfect time to propose him.

We've been busy lately but I don't want to lose this chance to marry him.

I've waited long enough until he reached 35, so it's fair for me to do it now.

It was past 7pm when I am done with all the preperations and I just have to take a shower and wait for him to come home.
