"would you all shut up?" levi ackerman's demanding voice let the room finally fall silent again while his sharp silver eyes laid on you.

you were small, but your aura was flaming in confidence, eyes burning in rage. the pistol seemed to be weightless in your grip and you pointed it at him as if you were sure you would win. one soldier against five, two of them ackermans, yet you weren't intimidated at all. just what did you go through to become so fearless and unbothered?

your head was spinning, looking for all the different ways to get out of this situation. there were definitely too many of them, you could have tried of course, but would it do you any good to fight them now? several hundred metres above the sea, no land in sight for miles, the night almost fallen. that's right, the whole thing wasn't thought through, you once again allowed your feelings to influence your actions.

"feelings make you weak. you don't need such thing in this business y/n. don't make friends, don't get attached and most importantly don't love "

"put your damn weapon down! i won't ask twice" the female soldier with short black hair next to him looked like she had to exercise a lot of self-control to not attack you head on. you smirked, you were about to go down anyways, so why not make it fun.

"hmm let me think about it?" you brought two of your fingers to your chin, pretending to think before you turned back to them, your lips formed into a small smile. "no" the man's face in front of you twitched in anger.

"i wouldn't advice you to mess with y/n y/ln Levi" a familiar voice from the corner of the room spoke. you turned and met his blue eyes and realized that you had completely forgotten about his presence. with just that one exchange of glances, all the memories came crawling back.

it was late night, beginning of winter and you were in the girls barracks, tightly holding onto the thin blanket, which barely provided any heat. you were exhausted from todays harsh training, yet couldn't fall asleep because of the unbearable cold, leaking through the walls from the outside. "hey, y/n!" someone whisper shouted through the room, catching your attention.

you sat up, your eyes scanning the room for the source of the voice, as you met zeke's deep blue eyes while he stood beside the door. you raised an eyebrow at his foolishness to show up in the girls barracks at an hour like this. still you were curious why he had taken the risk to come here and carefully jumped off your bunkbed and slipped into your boots and winter jacket.

he had already gone outside, so you followed him, stepping into the winter night, the frosty air painting your cheeks deep red. "zeke?" "zeke where are you?" it was so dark you couldn't even see your own two feet. someone suddenly grabbed your arm causing you to let out a little yelp. he started pulling you forward, which only could've been into the direction of the training field.
