"Hey rose, feeling better?" Peter said as I walked to the food tent and took a seat with my plate. "Ya, I'm fine," I said starting to eat. I didn't want to talk about last night, nor did I want to remember it. Remembering is like reliving and I've been reliving it over, and over, and over, and-

"Hey look it's black! Hey black, how's smile" I looked at Sebastian, looking as if nothing happened, nothing was wrong, but that all stopped when he saw the clear disgust on my face. I ripped my gaze away from him, suddenly losing my appetite as I got up and left the table without a word. As I walked away, I felt an arm grab me. "Let me go sensation" I angrily muttered.

"Kitten whatever is the matter, you're not like this," he said. I stayed quiet and hoped he would leave, moving his arm off annoyed. "Kitten, talk to me," he said. Every second I was there, with him, I wanted to rip his lips off so he couldn't speak another word. "kitten are you upset with me? What could I have done to make you so mad" he said acting innocent.

I turned around in anger "yes! I'm pissed off, beyond that! How could you not even be sorry for the pain you have caused me! You see this!? I cried last night so hard I probably threw up because of you!" I shouted, he looked at me, and an inaudible 'what...' escaped his lips "oh Sebastian is perfect, Sebastian can't do wrong, he's a demon it's in his nature. Well, I guess seducing women to get whatever you want is just part of the job description too huh!?"

The look on his face was priceless. He knew exactly what he'd done and didn't even feel sorry, not until it was too late anyway. "kitten I..." "Save it," I said turning away from him. "kitten nothing happened, it was nothing I swear I just got information from her I swear!" I wasn't listening, I had already started crying again but refused to let him see.

"Save it" I muttered. "kitten I swear, she meant nothing it was strictly business, as the young master had ordered me to find information by any means possible. I'm so sorry my methods hurt you so" I didn't say anything, I wanted him to shut up "Kitten please listen to me, I love you and only you I promise. It will never happen again you have my word". "shut up shut up shut up! I don't wanna hear it! You used me like you use everyone else! I guess our talks meant nothing, the other night meant nothing! Huh!?"

He just stared at me in disbelief. None of us had the words anymore. I saw a tear fall from his eye and I couldn't watch. I knew he was sorry, but that didn't change the fact he did it. I walked away after that, but I couldn't walk for long before I ducked behind a tent and collapsed, I started to sob all over again. I couldn't take this anymore; I wanted to run away or disappear. I was done with men, I was done with this case, I just wanted to leave.

"Well well, what have I found?' I looked up suddenly and looked around and saw him, Claude. But something was wrong, it was, dark, all black for some reason. "what are you doing here" I said wiping my face quickly sniffling. "well, I heard the cries of a maiden in trouble and thought I'd come help" he said with a soft smiling. It looked more like a smirk or something. I don't know my eyes were puffy from crying so my vision was probably fuzzy for a bit.

"Well, I don't want your help," I said looking around "wait where am I?' I said confused. "you're somewhere safe, come with me to the trancy manor, we won't treat you like that vile demon did," he said holding a hand out to me "I will treat you better". "Pfft, Ya right. You're just like him, I know it. There's no way you're not like him" I said. I turned away even though I was almost certain id walk off into nothing when he grabbed my hand and pulled me close to his body.

I felt my entire body paralyze. I wanted to speak, I wanted to move, but I couldn't do either. I just stood there, close to this weirdo that won't let me go, as he whispered close into my ear. "I will have you one way or another, you are too ..." he took in a deep breast that sent a shiver up my paralyzed spine "delicious". I really wanted to slap this guy and make him let go of me, but I was frozen to the spot and all I could do was listen as he talked. I want to devour every bit of you befor- wait..." oh god... what is he thinking.

I was suddenly thrown to the ground again, able to move. "That vile being touched you, didn't he," he said as he looked at me. I saw pure anger in his eyes that filled me with fear that I've never felt before. I couldn't speak as I saw the satisfaction he had when he knew I was afraid of him, he kneeled down and got close to me, close enough to whisper "I always get what I want" he then helped me to my feet "always". he disappeared after that. I looked around and after rubbing my eyes I saw that I was back at my tent. "how in the hell did I get here?" I said quietly to myself.

"there you are!" i heard angels voice slowly coming into earshot behind me. i turned around and saw her looking out of breath. "holy cow angel did you run here?" i said confused. "well.. i heard what happened, i think everyone did. i wanted to check on you," she said. "im fine angel," i said turning around and walked inside my tent " i dont wanna talk about it." she followed me inside clealry wanting to continue it "come on, what happened? i want you to talk about it please?" i was right. "ugh! angel! i told you, i dont wanna talk about it, ok!" i said. she jumped a little but eventually dropped it.

i sighed "im sorry, im just stressed and i really dont wanna relive catching the guy.. you finally leave your trust to.. break your heart right infront of you.." i said slowly sitting on the bed as tears slowly rolled down my cheek. She looked at me with a look of fear, shock, disappointment, and anger. She sat on the bed with me and rubbed my back while I cried softly and hugged me gently.

"I'm sorry... I didn't know, I wouldn't have ask" she said as I layed my head on her shoulder "I can't believe he'd be so stupid. Some case... Would you like me to take you home? We don't have to stay." "No, we'd let everyone down and we're supposed to be here. Besides how'd we get home anyways?" I said. She shrugged and stood up "I'm gonna go figure out a way home, let me know if you wanna stay" I nodded and watched as she left. I stayed in my tent that night, I didn't really wanna leave, but at the same time I didn't wanna be stuck somewhere I didn't wanna be... I don't know what to do...

"Sure you wanna stay?" Angel said as she held my hands tightly in her's, her eyes pleaded for me to go with her. I shook my head "I want to stay, I'll suck it up, I'm not about to run away" I said. She sighed "I get it... I have something you might want to hear" I raised an eyebrow at her "Sebastian is gonna take ciel to the townhouse, apperently he has all the info he needs". I rolled my eyes "of course he does".

"Hey, if you stay, you can keep looking, there could be something they missed. Since Sebastian can't see what's good for him right infront of his eyes" I giggled at her ridiculing Sebastian "and, maybe you will even have some fun. Trust me. Now come on, I'll take you to the others before I leave". I did trust her, maybe it'll be fine who knows. I couldn't help but have a longing feeling deep inside me, it was strange but I tried to ignore it, get on with life... For right now anyway.

We met up with the others and before she left I hugged her goodbye, she decided to go back because she felt something was gonna happen. I didn't fight her decision. I joined the others and got on with the show, even though I was smiling I had no real joy inside me the whole performance. "Rose, everything alright?" I turned around to see dagger walking towards me. He looked like he was about to leave somewhere which was strange.

"Uh ya, I'm cool. Going somewhere?" I said confused. "ah well, nights are a bit chilly so" he waved off my question. I nodded "right... Well I should be heading to my tent, cya" I started walking off when I heard him mumble something "what was that?". "Huh? Oh nothing, have a good night" he said and walked off. I nodded and walked away with his words ringing in my head "watch your back, (y/n)"
