I was debating about updating on a weekend but I got bored and just decided to write the next chapter. Enjoy!
Yelena was thrown off. What mission is her sister talking about? She hadn't been informed that her and Natasha would be going on one.
She could hear Maria and Natasha quietly conversing about what the mission is. Yelena was confused so she decided to ask her sister about it.
"What mission are you talking about Natasha?" Yelena interrupted their conversation "you didn't tell me that we were going on one."
Natasha looked confused for a second until she realised what Yelena meant.
"Oh Yelena," Natasha said "it's about a mission that Maria and I are going on."
When Yelena heard that all she could think of is why her sister was leaving her behind and going on a mission with someone else.
Yelena knew that her and her sister were the best and they were even better together, so why was her sister choosing to go with Maria instead?
Natasha already knew what thoughts would be going through her sisters head so immediately went and tried to explain.
"Yelena listen to me" Natasha started "it's a very dangerous mission-"
Hearing this Yelena started to get angry with her sister "So what if it's dangerous you know i am literally one of the best assassins in the world!"
"Yelena listen to me please!" Natasha started saying.
Yelena didn't want to hear it. "Forget it Natasha, I'm not hungry anymore."
"Yelena you don't understand, we have to pretend to be married!"
Yelena stopped walking away as soon as she heard that. She started to feel silly and embarrassed when she heard that.
Yelena finally started to calm down. She could feel her cheeks heating up and looked down to hide the blush on her face.
"Yelena trust me, if I could bring you on this mission I would but I really can't."
"It's okay Natasha," Yelena struggled to speak "I'm sorry for overreacting and i'm sorry Maria for shouting."
" Really Yelena it's okay i understand, don't worry." Maria said.
"I'm just going to go to my room, sorry again."
Yelena turned around and left as quick as she could not wanting to face her sister or Maria anymore.
There was only one thought in Yelena's mind.
